I love the communication at this place. The owners seem very caring, patient and knowledgeable. The only thing that made me uneasy was that they welcome you to come for a tour, but they don't really show you around much at all. However, my dog stayed for 6 nights and came home happier than I left her. I would recommend this place for overnight stays and I will be trying out the daycare option next! It is a smaller facility and they don't mix the dogs from different families, so that's something unique I was looking for. My 6 month old golden loved this place.

This was the first time I have used a boarding facility and I have a new 10 month old Schnauzer . I did a 1 day trial for him then a 2 day overnight stay.Kristin made me feel so at ease and my dog loves her! I love that I found a place I can trust with my furry son !

Updating my review because we still use Waggin Tails 5 years later. From the staff to my tired, happy pup after pickup - Waggin tails holds my heart. Ashland and Kristin have both remembered my son’s name when we drop off or pick up and they always ask after my family. Truly wonderful people who care and look after your fur babe so you can have stress free trips. They also have monitored my dogs health and *bodily functions* and when things seemed wrong, they would contact me. 10/10 or I guess 5/5 in Google terms ❤️

I wanted to wait and write a review after my Great Dane had a chance to have day visits as well as some long stays. He has been visiting Waggin Tails for going on 7 months now. The staff has always been very nice and accommodating, and our Great Dane Axel is ALWAYS excited and seems eager for his visits. Our last boarding company in Athens, Axel Would just stroll in, not showing much excitement, but at Waggin Tails, he is literally pulling me inside with much excitement. I highly recommend waggin Tails a 250%!

Awesome owners! We boarded our two Akitas for 8 days here while we were on vacation. I was super worried but after meeting Chris and his wife my fears disappeared. They came home happy and naughty as usual!

Excellent boarding and great folks! Our pup has always been a little dog reactive, but they were able to accommodate and she's even warmed up to other dogs because of it! They take your pooch out five times daily, have multiple pens for them to run around and you can't beat the price. Waggin tails is the only place we will board our furry one.

Waggin Tails was wonderful! I have 2 dogs and one is prone to be anxious without the other. They boarded them together, worked their outside time around the rain and thunder (one hates rain, the other is terrified of thunder), and kept them in runs that took into account my one dogs escape artist nature so that she could not escape. Overall they were beautifully considerate of my dogs needs and very sweet to work with. We will definitely be using them again!

I cannot recommend this place enough. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. It was my first boarding experience with my Great Dane, Cooper. I was super nervous, because, like a typical Dane, he's an emotional dog. I was worried about his first extended stay away from Mom and in a new place. Much to my surprise, him and his brother had a great time! Didn't seem like they missed us too much. Also, they were completely exhausted from play and slept all night when we brought them home. But the most comforting fact is that when we came to pick them up, the owner pegged the personalities of our pups after a few short days. Which tells me, he was out there, paying attention, and really getting to know our fur-babies. He seemed to love them almost as much as we do. That is the kind of personal care you will not find in any other boarding facility in this area. Thanks, y'all! They will definitely be back and we've already referred you to other dog moms and dads.

My dogs have stayed here before and Chris raved about how wonderful they were. A year later, my wife made a reservation for our dogs again. Everything was set to go and then we received a cancellation with no reasoning. My wife had to call to find out the reasoning. Apparently, hand written vet records are a no go even though they were accepted a year ago. Even better, my vet tried calling to let them know our dogs were up on all their records and were promptly hung up on. Definitely can not recommend and I am appalled our reservation was rejected multiple times over hand written records, which were previously accepted.
