We asked Tri-state to provide a quote for HVAC equipment. We explained to them what all we needed on the quote. They provided the quote. We then used their quote to perform job pricing to our customer, and then booked the job with our customer. We have now driven all the way to Athens, GA to pick up the equipment for the scheduled job, and realized that their quote was only for a portion of what we actually requested from them. They have now DOUBLED OUR PRICE if we want to buy everything needed to do the job properly. The rep admitted that he was at fault. We asked for them to honor the price they had originally quoted, but they denied our request. We discussed this situation with their store manager, and were offered a $100 discount on the order. We now have a 5 hour wasted trip to Athens, no telling how long to find equipment elsewhere, and a customer with NO HEAT that is forced to wait until we can find what’s needed. In my opinion, the professional and honorable way for them to handle this would have been to honor the price they originally quoted. We gave them every reasonable chance to make it right, but here we are in this situation.

To start I called Royston to see if they sold to the public. She said the Athens and Lavonia could assist me. A tornado dropped a hickory and two white oak trees on a double wide we have on a private pond. So I needed several things but we started with siding. I was told to that I needed to go to Lavonia which is 45 minutes from where I was originally. Now, ok get to drive an hour and twenty minutes instead of 45. That's my experience. It was not the best or even good
