I just completed my initial visit today. I arrived early not knowing what to expect, but everything was already taken care of. They had already contacted my insurance company too. The visit was very comprehensive. I discovered I would need several crowns which my Dentist I normally go to didn’t even mention when I was in for a visit last month. I’m looking forward to finally getting my mouth health back on track. I enjoyed reading about the small library of cutting edge books on health while I was in the waiting room.

TLC is a literal answered prayer. I had been looking for a holistic dentist that would not only remove old fillings that I believe are making me sick - but that wouldn’t think I’m crazy for saying these ailments I have are related to my teeth. They were even better. They not only understood - but verified and then helped guide me through the safest way to get my oral health right - in the most beautiful relaxing setting. Amanda 2 was amazing from start to finish. Professional and friendly and helped me feel completely seen and understood. I am so grateful to the entire staff and the vision of Dr. Matthew for bringing this practice to Athens. I have no doubt that this one move is setting up my health for generations. Do not hesitate to set up and appointment - and honestly - just switch.

I was looking for a holistic dentist .. a dentist willing to take out my root canals that I believe are causing many health problems for me. From the time I checked in till I left everyone could not of been more nice and made me feel so comfortable. I have major anxiety about going to the dentist but felt at peace there. I need quite a bit of work done but feel like I’m in very good hands at this office. I just wish I didn’t have to wait a month to have the work done as I have severe health anxiety.. but willing to wait regardless.

I was very impressed with the logic and knowledge shared during my first visit. I had the most thorough first visit ever with the dental assistant Liberty and Dr. Mathew. We discussed tests to identify issues with my teeth and how to identify corrections needed.

The staff are very friendly! It's just the place I was looking for that has holistic dental care. They make sure you are always comfortable and always available to answer questions. The lobby has a warm homey feel. Not cold and unfriendly.

I met Dr. Anita and her team recently at a nearby healing fair event and there was clearly a good reason to return a few days later to see the TLC office and make my first appointment. I've been moving a lot and my teeth are not getting the care they need for the last four years. No dentist could explain my symptoms and I have not inspired enough to take better care of myself. By the time I got to Dr. Anita's dental chair, I knew my health was waning and I wanted to know what was wrong and how to act. With the bacterial tests Dr. Anita provides, I felt I could finally get the support I needed and I felt their patient yearly membership deal was something I felt I could afford on a tight budget and made me feel part of the process, rather than simply a patient with one thing, teeth. That makes me feel very care for. I have a lot of stress going on in my mouth and having the extra care, wholistic and consciencous approach to health that Dr. Anita and her team delivered was very resolving and high above standard. My intake took two and a half hours because they really wanted to take their time to understand and explain to me what was already evident. I got to clean my teeth with herbal products found in the bathroom that was a step beyond normal before it all started, and then had tea and snacks along the way. I left excited and motivated by the prospects of my new healing venture. I am waiting to return for the saliva test I took to get a take on harmful bacteria systemic in my body. I joined as a yearly member because I felt it was a friendly agreement that helps me feel my teeth are now cared for and I am ready to begin! The staff was friendly and welcoming. I felt part of the team more then I felt like a patient. That means I'm part of my healing team and that's a very good thing!! I highly recommend TLC!

Fantastic! The doctor was amazing. She was more concerned with fixing the nutritional deficiency causing the soft enamel than just fixing the teeth. I’m thrilled to find someone as knowledgeable as this doctor. We are driving 1 hour to get here and it’s worth the drive.
