My daughter was trying to leave school for the weekend, but got a flat on Friday night after getting about 45 minutes out of town. Tire service put on her donut, but I had her go back to town an extra night so she could take her car in early on Saturday morning in order to get the tire fixed or replaced before her drive from Athens to Birmingham. Her tires didn't have too many miles on them so we had planned to either get the tire fixed or just get the one replaced. As I suspected, her tire could not be repaired. The Tire Plus rep told my daughter she would need to replace all 4 tires since she has an AWD vehicle. I was frustrated at first and thought they were just trying to take advantage of the situation. We really didn't have money to pay to have all four tires replaced. After speaking with the rep on the phone, it really did sound like the best plan of action. The rep understood the situation and was able to offer us a discount on a brand new set. Now, after a couple of weeks, I was finally able to see the tires in person. They sold her a great set at a more than excellent price. Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter and her car care needs. We'll definitely send her back while she's away at college and needs someone to treat her fairly.

We made an appointment at this location for 2:00. We were told it would be 1.5 - 2 hrs to finish putting on TWO tires and an alignment. At the 1.5 hour mark it still had not even been brought into the bay and the gentleman said he hadn’t realized people had gone to lunch and that our vehicle would be next. Another 1.5 hours later it is finally finished. If we had been a walk in that is completely understandable. If you allow appointments prioritizing those clients first would make sense. It’s not that hard.

Fair pricing, fair timeliness of service, but not trustworthy. I scheduled an appointment to have a headlight and parking light replaced and to have tires rotated. The appointment length was just over the time estimate, and the service price was fair (comparable to dealer). They tried to upsell me on several things, which is to be expected. I'm fine with that, as it can help the customer gain awareness of existing or potential issues. However, this was neither a productive nor credible experience. "Your air filters are dirty" became, "Actually, it was just some leaves on your engine filter we had to blow off," when I pushed back and told them I replaced both cabin and engine filters myself 3 months ago. "Your suspensions and rotors need to be replaced" became, "Those are just standard recommendations based on the mileage of the car" when I told them I personally inspected the rotors myself over the summer and had another mechanic do so when installing a new tire and when I pointed out the suspension was replaced less than 20K miles ago. I received a non-apology for the "lack of transparency", but I shared that I will not be doing business with them again unless I know exactly what I need in advance because their prices are fair, but they forfeited my trust.

I brought my car here about a month ago because I was having an issue where my engine temperature was running hot and then immediately cooling back to normal. They said they would run diagnostics on it, which took several hours. The answer that I received was that the coolant was low so I just need a coolant flush. I agreed and left paying just under $300. Cut to slightly over a month later as the guy on the phone pointed out to me, and the same problem returns. This time I took it to Akins Ford (highly recommend). They also ran diagnostics which included a coolant pressure test and it turns out there was a leak at the cap. After a second test, it's also leaking from the water pump. Both need to be replaced. So Tires Plus had me pay nearly $300 for a service I did not need and did not fix the problem or address it in any way. They failed to actually diagnose the problem and sold me a service I did not need given what the problem actually is. I will never bring my car here (or this location at the very least) again. If they did a pressure test it failed. This was the same problem. And they don't care or stand behind their service. It's not guaranteed whatsoever. They also told me my car was out of alignment and asked me to fix that. It's not out of alignment. Do not trust this shop.

Over the past few years, I have consistently patronized this establishment, having purchased five sets of tires for 3 of my cars. These tires are not inexpensive; they are expensive, ranging from $1500 and up. Despite the high cost, the waiting time for appointments is always three or more hours. However, this time, they performed an alignment, rotation, and balance. However, I will not be buying more tire from here. I intend to continue coming until my tires need to be replaced, as I have purchased a lifetime alignment service. After that, I will likely seek out a different establishment, as I am not willing to continue spending my money at a place that does not provide the service I expect.

Not only did they do nothing to fix my car in the week+ they had it, but apparently left the windows down and the once clean interior is covered in pollen. They also never called and gave us any updates, we had to call them. This place is the worst car shop we have ever been to, absolutely useless.
