Great experience! I had a crown come off and I needed a new dentist. All accomplished in one day. They were able to fit me in the same afternoon I called. Had a cleaning with Laura. She was wonderful throughout the process, making sure I was comfortable. Gave me good insight as to the health of my teeth. I brought my crown and Dr Kim was able to reattach it. She was very nice and very knowledgeable. I have found my dentist! Thank you Laura and Dr Kim for such a pleasant experience!

I have nothing but glowing things to say about Timothy Road Dental Care and their team. Last Friday, I was referred to them by my typical dentist as I was in extreme pain after a crown procedure. I didn't have to wait long when I came to the practice before Miracle brought me back. She was kind, patient, and informative as I was very emotional from the amount of pain I was in. Even taking X-rays was a painful experience, but Miracle treated me with kindness, patience, and never made me feel bad about how I was feeling. Later, Dr. Clanton came to talk to me about the amount of decay she was seeing in my X-rays and that I would need a root canal sooner rather than later. She was also very patient, reassuring, and very sympathetic to the pain I was in. I unfortunately had to be numbed multiple times as Dr. Clanton explained I had a "hot tooth" which meant numbing the area is really difficult. During this time Tameka was in the room to help me make a new temporary crown (as my old one was not fitting to my crown well and may be contributing to the pain). Tameka was extremely patient as I was having a hard time following her directions with making the new crown as I was in so much senstive pain. I can't describe her patience as I was most definitely a difficult patient. I am beyond thankful for the three ladies as they really treated me with the most respect when I was going through an extremely difficult time of pain and anxiety. Dr. Clanton was able to refer me to an endodontic and I will be getting my emergeny root canal in a few hours! I just got off the phone with Miracle as she called me this morning to check in. After the visit, I will be moving my dental care to Timothy Road Dental Care as I will never forget how well they took care of me!

Amazing! All the staff were wonderful. Although I had a fairly severe toothache for multiple days due to my not being able to see a dentist. This office worked me in and I saw an extremely friendly and attentive dentist. The dentist assistant, Sonja, was fantastic and eased my nerves. She listened to my issues, and took full panoramic x-rays prior to seeing the Dentist, Dr. Lena Park. Dr. Park examined my mouth, listened to my issues, and after reviewing my x-rays, there was the potential possible infection, so prescribed me an oral antibiotic and an antibiotic mouth rinse to take care of my immediate pain prior to seeing an oral surgeon. This will be my new dental office, and would highly recommend them for any dental needs!

I felt completely scammed! I went for a preventative teeth cleaning (which I get 2 free a year with my insurance) They go forward with a “maintenance cleaning ” instead, which apparently my insurance DOESN’T cover… and charge me $225 for it.. Not even the worst part… I had my appointment in the morning to have a simple new patient checkup/cleaning and they tell me that I have to come back on another appointment for my cleaning?! They say there’s an opening that same afternoon so I schedule it. I come back that afternoon and they only clean HALF MY MOUTH!!! And they’d like to have me back AGAIN that week for the other half of my mouth. Worst experience I’ve ever had!

I have really appreciated my time at Timothy Road Dental and am only leaving because they will be out of network with my dental insurance. Every time I come in, I’m greeted by the joyful face and voice of Crystal that always brightens my day. She’s also the one you can credit for the amazing musical playlist. Having put off dental work for quite a while, I only came in because of a dental emergency where I had broken a crown, but Dr. Wendi Clanton was able to fit me in quickly and accessed my issue without judgment. She took her time with me and in explaining things to me. She, her staff, and her dental hygienists were all so kind, patient, and gentle with me. I really am so sad to have to leave them, and I wholeheartedly recommend them without hesitation.

This dental office is well staffed with careful conscientious employees. My experience was great from check in to check out. This included X-ray’s, 3D imaging, cleaning, exam and explanation of necessary dental procedures. I highly recommend Timothy Road Dental.

I am divided here: on the one hand, I liked the dentist and assistants and thought they did a great job in evaluating my needs as a new patient. However, on the other hand, they have a new patient special of ex- rays, exam and cleaning for $79, perfect for me because I recently moved to Athens and am looking for a new dentist. Because I need deep cleaning they did not do the cleaning, which is why I went there in the first place and is one of the main ways I evaluate a dental practice. They took $19 off my charge after I asked about it but they should have cleaned my teeth and said we would start the deep cleaning next time. If they had, they would have a new patient instead of a mainly negative review. Felt like a scam to me.
