An absolutely exceptional dining experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my girlfriend and I felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. We were celebrating her birthday, and it was clear that the staff had been informed in advance — a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. While the food easily earned a five-star rating, the service we received from Corey exceeded all expectations — truly deserving of ten stars. Corey was outstanding. He remained fully engaged throughout our meal, sharing thoughtful conversation and personal stories, and demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for what he does. He was, without a doubt, the highlight of our visit. As for the food — if I have one complaint, it’s that the flavors were simply too good to resist. Each course was expertly crafted and left us eager to see how the next would possibly surpass the last. Some reviews mention the pricing, but in our experience, the quality of both the cuisine and the service more than justifies the cost. If you're fortunate enough to be served by Corey, your visit will be nothing short of unforgettable. P.S: Should someone from the Capital Grill read this, which I hope they do, please do take a moment to acknowledge Corey as he truly deserves it.

I Went To Capital Grille Restaurant Located At 200 Park Ave. For My Birthday Dinner, My Guest Couldn’t Make It At The Last Moment. My Server The Best Server Host In the Restaurant Industry. Massi He Asked Me Where’s Your Guest? I Told Him That She Couldn’t Make It. He Immediately Told Me Don’t Worry About It! I Got You Beautiful! It’s Your Day It Doesn’t Matter That Your Guest Isn’t Here! I’m Going To Take Care Of You! I Got You! Is Something That He Repeated To Me Throughout The Evening. I’ve Never Felt So Taken Care Of In A Restaurant Before! That Was All Due To Massi! He Brought Me Champagne As Soon As I Sat Down. He Was Very Attentive, Thoughtful, Caring And Professional. The Food Was Delicious As Always! The Ambiance Is Top Tier Class! I Highly Recommend Capital Grille If You Delight In Having A Marvelous Dining Experience! The food was absolutely amazing and worth every dollar! We had one steak sandwich and one New York steak — both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even stored our luggage for us since we were heading to the airport after our meal. A special thank-you to Natalie Acosta, who was incredibly kind and attentive. When she realized it was my husband’s birthday, she surprised us with a dessert and two glasses of sparkling wine. That thoughtful gesture truly made our day. We had such a great experience and would definitely come back the next time we visit New York City!

My husband and I make it a tradition to visit this restaurant every year, and this time was extra special—our first visit as a married couple. As always, the experience was amazing, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful waitress, Britney. She was warm, welcoming, and made everything feel so comfortable from the moment we sat down. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor really elevated the night. The food never disappoints. The crab cake is hands-down our favorite—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We also can’t get enough of the creamed spinach and the lobster mac and cheese; they’re rich, flavorful, and always hit the spot. This restaurant continues to be one of our most cherished spots, and we already can’t wait to come back next year. Hopefully, we’ll get lucky and have Britney again!

This was the best meal we had during our stay in New York City. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was luxurious. I wish they had a couples meal or a shareable selection on the menu. I’ve been to a few of their locations and I’m always impressed.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and elegant—perfect for a special night out. The food was absolutely phenomenal, with every dish cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. What truly made our experience memorable, however, was our waiter, Emit. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Emit struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness—offering excellent recommendations, answering our questions with patience, and ensuring we were comfortable throughout the meal. His timing was impeccable, and he made us feel like valued guests without ever hovering. If you're dining at The Capitol Grille, I highly recommend asking for Emit—he elevated an already great experience into something truly exceptional. We'll definitely be back!

What can I say? I love Cap Grille!!! This is one of their newer locations and very conveniently located right by Grand Central. With both indoor and outdoor dining, a nice large bar and private dining you have all your options covered. The food is fabulous and the service is on point. 5 stars!!

I recently dined here with a group of ladies and we had a private room. My favorite foods were the calamari (which I must say I have without any sauce for the first time and it was delicious! First restaurant I’ve ever gone to that serves it with peppers only- soo good), mashed potatoes, and Prosciutto Wrapped Mozzarella. The Dry Aged Bone-In Strip tasted better when I heated it on my stove in some chicken broth lol. The waiters were amazing! Would possibly visit again to try the other dishes!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and I'm still receiving compliments on both the food and the service. Shelby and Jill's efforts were truly outstanding. Even our CEO, who is extremely selective, stated that we should plan more events at The Capital Grille. This is a significant compliment coming from him. The waitstaff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating, ensuring our evening proceeded seamlessly. We had such a wonderful time that the event extended well beyond its scheduled end.
