I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and everything was wonderful from start to finish. We were welcomed at the table with decorative touches that made the evening feel extra special. The appetizers were delicious, the cocktails were excellent, and the steak was cooked perfectly—we loved it. A special thank you to Edgar, who went above and beyond to make our night memorable. We truly appreciate his help and kindness. Highly recommended!

Started with fresh oysters. Best steak I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the bone in ribeye accompanied Sam’s mashed potatoes and the grilled asparagus and the service was impeccable. Delaney and the rest of the staff elevated the whole experience. Will definitely come back again and tell my friends to come if they ever have the chance

We visited this place because it’s known for its steaks. The three of us shared two different cuts, and while the meat itself seemed to be of good quality, the seasoning was far too strong and salty—we couldn't eat much and ended up leaving most of it. Compared to many great steakhouses in Manhattan, it was a bit of a letdown. That said, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed.

My friend and I sat at the bar, and we had a great time thanks to the bartender — he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at ease right away. However, the experience with the rest of the staff was disappointing. The waiters came off as rude and unapproachable, which really took away from the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s a shame because the place itself is beautiful, but the service from the floor staff left a negative impression.

Best steak ever. I strongly recommend you to try it. The food that comes with it is as good as the meat itself. They have bought the full harvest of a good wine brand. Their cocktails are also good. The light level is very suitable for an elegant dinner. The ambiance is nice. There is quality furniture and upholstery. The walls are decorated with nice pictures. The waiters are attentive, but they are not very good at effectively arranging the table. Put everything I said aside, you have to try this meat

Service was excellent and the food and drinks were amazing! The Doli drink was so refreshing. The roasted chicken with risotto was delicious and the portion size was very large. The lobster was perfect and the creamed corn was also very tasty. Thanks for a great evening!

I am writing to share my unfortunate experience at The Capital Grille in New York City, which was particularly disappointing as it was my first visit in many years. I have been a loyal patron for the past 16 years, and this recent experience has compelled me to bring these issues to your attention, as well as to the corporate office. On my son's birthday, I encountered several service and quality concerns that I feel need to be addressed. During our meal, we ordered calamari for the table and chicken nuggets for two young children. The chicken nuggets were extremely salty, and my children immediately noticed and mentioned it to me. I tried a small piece myself and found it to be quite unpleasant. When our server, Michael, finally approached, we brought up the issue with the chicken nuggets. His response was dismissive, stating that we ordered them that way and that there was nothing he could do. I requested to speak with a manager, believing they could remove the salty items from our bill, but the manager refused to take any action, despite the fact that the children had not eaten the chicken nuggets. Additionally, I was surprised by the lack of attentive service—no empty plates were cleared from our table at any point, forcing us to clear space ourselves, which made the table cluttered and uncomfortable. Furthermore, I ordered a ribeye steak but decided not to eat it. I informed the server, who simply left the box on the table and departed. I expected a more attentive service, such as the server taking the food to package it for me, which is standard in many establishments, especially in Florida Overall, this experience was far below the standards I have come to expect from The Capital Grille over the years. I plan to send this feedback along with photographs to the corporate office for their review. Thank you for your attention to these matters. I feel super grateful to have the wonderful dinner with Superman! The lamb was incredibly tender, and the clam chowder was creamy and delicious. We chose a very healthy Spanish dish, and it was absolutely yummy. Thank you for the memorable experience! And there is a bar outside of the dinning room. Highly recommend if you prefer fine dinning at the quiet environment. 10/10 rating.

Had an early reservation for pre-theatre dinner. Food and service were both excellent. Our steaks (rib eye and NY strip) were cooked perfectly (medium rare) and tasted delicious. Also a very extensive and reasonably priced wine list.
