After having bad experiences with some supposedly good roofing companies. I talked to our insurance agent and she recommended Steve Starkey, the owner of Starkey Family Homes. In her words, he will give you an honest evaluation and you can trust what he tells you. I called Steve and he came out to evaluate our roof. His opinion was that we should qualify for a full roof replacement, but it might not be easy to convince our insurance company. He suspected that they would offer only repairs. He was right and we then escalated the claim. He handled everything needed to build our case and our claim was approved. Steve's crew did an excellent job and a very fair price. We also had him install new gutters and everything turned out great. I would recommend Starkey Family Homes to anyone looking for a fully insured, fair and honest contractor.

Can I give 10 Stars Google? Stephen is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Very professional in his mannerisms and his crew were all polite and friendly. The quality of work when building our screen porch is unmatched. Stephen set a price and stuck by it throughout the full job. Down to the smallest detail Stephen and his crew gave their fullest attention. Our new porch looks like it was built right along with the house during new construction. Stephen really went the extra mile to make sure we got the best replacement roof for our needs. There was a gutter downspout that had become disconnected after the installation and he came back the next day to reattach it. Excellent service and quality work. I would highly recommend.

Wow!!! 10 stars!!! I can't recommend them enough!!! Great!!!! Brandon went above and beyond to exceed all my expectations. The crew was efficient, courteous and very hard working. The installation occurred near the end of summer and the crew only took a lunch break. I have a roof that is very steep and has 5 peaks. It was in the 90's and the crew showed up early and left late in order to complete the installation. The roof was installed with professionalism and there have been no issues whatsoever since. They worked with our insurance company and everything was seamless for us. I never found one single nail after the job was complete. We have a memorial garden for our son that passed away a couple of years ago and Brandon and Steven came and built a shelter for it with plywood and 2 X 4's to ensure that no harm would come to the garden. Now THAT is what I call caring! I will use Starkey Family Homes for all of my home repair needs. They do much more than just roofs and my trust in them is 100%!!! I would trust them with any repairs that we will need. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!! Thank You, Brandon and Starkey Family Homes!!!

Stephen Starkey just recently put a new roof on our house, and I could not have asked for a better experience. From the first call I made it was evident that Stephen is extremely experienced and that he sincerely wanted us to get exactly what we needed. Stephen met with us to explain how the process would work and to pick out roof shingles, and he also met with the claims representative from my insurance company when our house was examined. On the day of the actual roofing, we had already been told exactly what to expect, and Stephen made sure that the work was completed on-time and in a top-quality way. You can't go wrong with Stephen and Starkey Family Homes!
