***I know one thing for sure though, anybody with that much compassion and follow through, I will gladly do business with, no question, any day, any time, any place.*** Ron McCurry will never have to tell you that he’s real, solid, genuine guy. He’s gonna walk it out. A breakdown on I-20 in the middle of nowhere GA, left our work crew in a pretty bad situation. After our work truck died on the way home from an already long, cold day, we rolled to a stop in front of a sign reading “Next Exit 17 miles ahead”. Start a 6 hour nightmare of trial and error of any & everything that we could possibly fix or thought we could with our very limited tools and parts on hand. After 5 hours of “troubleshooting” on the side of the interstate 20E, we called SRS for a Mobile mechanic to try and get us back on the road. Unfortunately, our problem was not a roadside fix kinda problem. After ruling out everything that could have possibly caused our issues he was able to pinpoint our problem as the death of our high pressure oil pump . Which left us still stranded, freezing because the engine won’t run, no heat. Yup, oh and did I mention the next exit ain’t for 17 miles? Ron McCurry saw a need and went above and beyond any “professional liability “ he incurred by accepting the call. He made sure we got to a motel (and waited with us until we had our room keys, just in case something happened and we couldn’t get a room. Stood outside with us in the cold, just talking and cutting up through the entire process. I know one thing for sure though, anybody with that much compassion and follow through, I will gladly do business with, no question, any day, any time, any place.

Ever have someone come in your home and disrespect it? For a truck driver, his truck is his home and that's what our experience with SRS feels like. We like to support our local businesses whenever we can, so when we mentioned to our regular mechanic we needed some work done on our APU, he mentioned he had heard of SRS and could call them out. We figured why not support the local guy and not take it all the way to Atlanta or Greenville. Bad mistake!!! SRS replaced the alternator and belt for us. Upon inspection of the work, when we picked it up from the mechanic, we found bolts not tightened, the belt had a lot of play in it, the old alternator and rags laying all over our truck. But wait there's more. Climbed up in the cab and noticed he had moved things around in our truck, knocked a jacket down and instead of picking it up just walked all over it. Oh yeah, and did I mention SRS "serviced" the APU upon completion of his truck. But when we found the heat was still not working, our mechanic called him and said he needed him to come out and fix it. We needed to get moving to deliver our load. SRS tech, Ron McCurry, said wouldn't come until tomorrow. Period! End of discussion! If you decide to go ahead and give him a shot, be forewarned YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED!!! As I said, our local mechanic was trying to throw him some work. This was not an "Emergency" type of situation. We were charged for the service call AND a very high travel time fee for him going less than 20 miles!!! So for poor quality work, disrespecting our truck home and no follow through with the issues, I wish I could give this guy negative stars. Do yourself a favor, if you can make it on down the road, keep going to find someone better. If you live locally, look elsewhere. Your money should be better spent! Have no doubt, that will be the last time our mechanic throws him any work.

You can’t please everyone when you are in the business of Interacting with them during or immediately after an emergency situation. Well Ron McCurry went above and beyond to make sure four strangers had a warm place to stay, after a mechanical failure left them cold and stranded near Greensboro GA.. Geniunely , thank you for being a stand up and sympathetic dude... You changed the attitude and outlooks of 4 people tonight...Pretty cool
