My daughter had her treatment here, and I can say they do everything possible to make your visit very pleasant. The lady at the front is very kind and friendly; she always has a smile on her face, which is contagious and I assure you can brighten your day. The ladies at the back do an incredible job; they are always attentive to how to help the patient according to the doctor's instructions and ensure that this is carried out very carefully so as not to create any trauma for our children. The doctor has always been there; I love that it's always the same doctor, so he knows where he stands in relation to the treatment he's giving your son. I recently arrived late to an appointment, which was unusual because I've never been late. Obviously, I got the time wrong, so they were going to reschedule me, but I asked to speak to the manager, a very kind lady, and of course, she allowed me to continue with my appointment. All of this speaks volumes about this place. Delighted. I highly recommended 👌.

The things that I loved about smile doctors orthodontics: The customer service especially then front desk was good. It was a clean office. They seemed well staffed. The wait time wasn’t long. They offered a free consultation for the braces. They offered drinks in the waiting room for the braces. They had a dental hygienist that talked to you after the braces and gave you a kit with some things to take care of your braces with. The dentist himself was really nice from what I could tell I didn’t get to talk with him long. Things I did not like: I felt rushed during my appointment. I was hopeful for a better price than I received. I felt like the dentist assistant putting on my braces was in a hurry. I left not being able to swallow due to having so much build up from the glue in my mouth (I rinsed with mouth wash but it didn’t help). My mouth was too sore to brush at that time.

Smile doctors is an amazing Orthodontic office! The customer service is always superb and the ortho assistants are always gentle and caring regarding my comfort level. Dr Waugh is very knowledgeable and thorough, he has amazing suggestions and he’s very comforting to work with patient to doctor. The day that I had to remove my braces the staff were SO EXCITED FOR ME I almost cried. Lastly the lady who creates the retainers stayed overtime to make sure that I didn’t have to wait from Thursday to Monday to wear my retainers, it really showed how much she cared about my new smile! My confidence has now leaped and the entire process was sooo worth it! Overall I give this place a 1000/10.

Smile doctors in Athens has always been a good experience for me. I lose my retainer often, but they offer great retainer insurance! My retainer always comes in perfect and in a timely manner. Last time I went, Diana did a great job at doing my scans and made me feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Very disappointed, I have taken my daughter there since 2023, everything was great in the first appointment. The reason I chose this place was because they used to have Saturday appointments. Couple of months into my daughter’s treatment they removed Saturdays which it was very disappointing. The lady in the front office in athens is horrible, I arrived on time and I had to wait 45 minutes to see the ortho. Today was my last appointment for my daughter because we are moving to another state I get there 10 minutes late and the lady in the front office says we have a 10 minute late policy we cannot take you in. I’m like wait a minute what about all the time I spend sitting on those chairs waiting 45 minutes to get in. I told her I never knew about this policy because I was late probably once before and they never mentioned anything. I was very disappointed about the service I receive. I called the headquarters and the lady that help today was very nice she apologized for someone’s else’s mistake she said the policy does state 15 minutes not 10. They send the transfer forms and after all the money I paid they didn’t have the courtesy to send it to the new ortho when I provided all the information. I am very unhappy for the service I receive. Do your research. They also are very limited on appointments all the time. That hinders the treatment so it’s on them not the customer. Unhappy!!!!!!!
