Tina has help me and my wife with four of our dogs. She is great at helping those who need help. Tina has helped out with a problem dog before. My wife goes regularly to her training sessions. Thank you for the help.

I rarely do reviews but wanted to share my experience with Sit Happens. My family's experience with Tina has been fantastic since day one. She has provided excellent skills training that we can practice at home that's made a quick and lasting impact on our puppy. In addition, Tina has gone above and beyond. She has been available to provide guidance outside of class hours whenever we needed it. Our puppy was in an accident and she called me almost daily checking his status and helping us through the whole situation. Her classes are fun, affordable and effective. I can't thank her enough for the experience and we look forward to being apart of Sit Happens for years to come.

Tina is an exceptional dog trainer who transformed our Luna from a nervous, unsocialized rescue to a confident, playful companion. Her intuitive approach and gentle guidance helped Luna overcome her fears through group classes and dog sitting. During classes, Tina gently built a rapport with Luna (who was suspicious of everyone), and when we needed a dog-sitter we knew that Tina was the one. We were surprised that every time Luna came back from dog-sitting with Tina, she appeared more confident and playful. I believe that this is the result of Tina carefully selecting playmates for Luna, and progressively challenging her with bigger, more energetic playmates as Luna was ready. Tina went above and beyond during our baby's arrival, providing crucial guidance in introducing Luna to our new baby. Her flexibility and care at that time were remarkable - even picking up Luna in the middle of the night during a home emergency. Thanks to Tina’s expert training, Luna now plays confidently with other dogs and has adapted beautifully to the major life changes inherent in having a new baby in the house. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Athens Georgia is so lucky to have this caliber of dog trainer to help us dog owners have rewarding relationships with our dogs. Tina Spring and Sit Happens dog training have helped me with my dogs for a couple of years. I’ve taken the basic clicker class with Sit Happens as a way to address communicating with my massive Mastiff. I have also needed Tina‘s help in incorporating a small child into the family. Tina’s practical problem-solving solutions have been invaluable. I have trained my dogs with multiple dog trainers and would say that Tina offers far more then training. So if you just got a dog, are only just thinking about adding one to your family, or like me had dogs and then had a child Tina is a great resource.

Tina is amazing. She has helped me with four of my dogs now. She speaks dog! I now have a perfect angel on a leash and off a leash. Thank you Tina!

Tina is great! She's equally as entertaining and friendly as she is knowledgeable about the world of dog training. She gives you the tools and skills you need to form a basic language to speak with your dog on a consistent basis. Our pup Pepper has known Tina her entire life and loves every time she has the chance to see her favorite person, The Chicken Lady. Go with an open mind and a willingness to learn!

Two years out, a perspective. What I received from Tina was better than just training tips in that she gave me the insight into my Pyrenees better than I think anyone could have. I call that invaluable. She taught me, above all else, the power of positive dog training and gave me the ability to connect emotionally with a very sensitive soul in my dog. Without her guidance I would have fallen back on my former old-fashioned viewpoint of dog ownership which would not have fit well with a Pyrenees. As others have said here, her humor in the classroom strips away any discomfort from newbies. She is indeed a force to behold in the dog training world! Whatever your dog situation is, I have full confidence in her ability, not only just to manage it, but to elevate your relationship with your dog to new heights. Highly recommend! Oh yeah, I must mention that her video series called “90 days to the perfect puppy” was outstanding. Anyone with a new puppy should watch this series.

Tina is an exceptional person with an incredible talent. Our family enlisted her help both for individual behavior training and as part of a dog training course for multiple participants. In both cases, Tina's expert guidance has worked wonders for our dog and our family's ability to better understand, communicate with, and meet the unique needs of our pup. There is really no way I can recommend Sit Happens highly enough.

The Sit Happens staff and Tina have changed our lives! When we brought our 6 month old puppy home he was terrified of everything! We couldn't even go on walks because just getting past our driveway was too scary. We noticed a big difference in his behavior after the first 2 classes! We were so happy with the results that we have since done pretty much every class Tina offers and Henderson is now officially a canine good citizen! If you just want your dog to learn to sit and stay you can go to any dog training class, however, if you want to learn how to teach and communicate with your dog you need to see Tina! The personal help and attention she gave us was really a giant help. She even answered a frantic call at 10pm when our dog attempted to eat a frog and started foaming at the mouth! As a result of Tina's class I know have a 2 year old dog who comes when called, walks politely on a leash, waits at the door and waits for his food. Most importantly though, I have a dog that I can communicate with and understand (most of the time, but when I'm not sure I STILL call Tina!). Some say Tina is a little quirky (hello, she's a dog wizard), but she's from up north bless her heart ;) In case you can't tell from my rant, we couldn't recommend Sit Happens more!

First of all, Tina is absolutely amazing! She has been working with my parents, their rescued Great Dane, my 4 yr old son, my rescued Pitbull/Boxer mix, and me for the past few months. I've never worked with someone who's paid as much attention to, and has shown as much care and concern for my son and his well being. She has taught and provided all of us with many tools and resources on how to keep my son safe around our dogs, while still keeping him involved with their progress, as well as maintaining a healthy relationship with them. He gets so excited when its time for Tina to come to our house because he knows that she really cares, and she makes sure he knows that he has a very important role to play in the training with both dogs. It is so much more than just training your dog with her. It's also about training yourself to be able to identify signs and behavior with your dog. Before Tina came, I had no idea how stressed and anxious my 4 legged bestie was. Now, I am able to better identify stressful situations, know what to do to be able to calm the stress and anxiety, and help my fur kid have a healthier and much more enjoyable life. All in all, I would highly recommend Tina to anyone in need of help or guidance with their dog(s)...especially, if a child is involved. She is the best, by far! I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
