I can't complain about the availability of getting tires the same day on my work vehicle. But what I will complain about is the lack and therefore the safety concerns for their customers when you ask for an alignment you get your vehicle back and I'm in my work vehicle and it is now dangerously pulling to the left that it wasn't doing before cuz you did not take it for a test drive you didn't verify anything before you gave it back to a customer this is absolutely dangerous. If you can't hire the experience people and I know when I come in at 4:30 in the afternoon you want to try to get home but you don't want to get home on the expensive someone's safety

These guys are amazing. They originally diagnosed the issue as an ac compressor ($1100 repair) but it ended up being the transmission flywheel ($2800 repair). They not only did it for the original quoted price they actually applied a 10% coupon. Very rare for a big box company to have such integrity. Kudos!

I’ve had great experiences here before, but they have lost my business after this week. I took my car in on Tuesday for an inspection where they completely missed that I needed an oil change as the solution to my check engine light. The light went away on my way to Pep Boys, so we never were able to read the code, but they still inspected my car and said they couldn’t find anything and that everything in the engine checked out. 2 days later, the light comes back on and I get the code read this time before taking it into pep boys in case the light goes off again. The initial says that they checked my oil level and air filters and they were good but 2 days later check engine light is back on and they inspect it again and see that I do in fact need an oil change. The technician of my original inspection, Michael, did not fully inspect my car, not even going as far as to check my oil level. They comped today’s inspection but it is frustrating to know that they’ll charge you for an inspection when they don’t actually inspect the vehicle.

I stopped at this Pep Boys to have a brake job done while we were visiting family, and the service here was excellent. They did a very through inspection of our truck and brought me out to explain any issues they saw and their recommendations. They explained everything clearly, and didn't speak down to me. And as someone whose dad was a mechanic, I also know they didn't try to talk me into unnecessary repairs. (And I went in alone as a female, which shouldn't matter but unfortunately with other companies I've seen it can) Highly recommend!

My car died while I was driving through Georgia and I called several places to see who could get me in and replace my starter that day (my car is a 5-6 hour job for the starter) and the guys at Pep Boys said they could get me in and out no problem! They originally quoted me about $1200-1400 and once they actually got to work, the tech was able to get it done a lot faster than expected and I only ended up paying a little less than $800. They did an amazing job at getting my car running day of, understanding the urgency of the situation, and keeping the price relative to the service that was actually provided - not just the quote! Overall: I had an amazing experience with the guys here at Pep Boys and I appreciate their hard work and honesty. These are a great bunch of guys, super educated and super hard working!

I had a last minute need for to tires to be installed. I had the tires already, but needed them to be put on. They were more than willing to install them with no extra charges and we were in and out in about 30 minutes. I will definitely be returning.

Not sure what has happened to this place. Scheduled an appointment on line, but when I arrived the adviser said three other people had booked the same time slot. So I needed to come back the next morning for my oil change, which I did. Got the Jeep back, the drivers seat, which is a type of white leather, had oil on it. The side of the vehicle had hand prints on it, also in oil. Had to buy leather cleaner to make the seat look better but it still can be seen. Very unprofessional. Wont be going back. Hard to find good mechanics these days. **Are all these other reviews even real? Are we even talking about the same store?? I cant be the only customer that had this happen to them!!!

this is for the location at Athens. very good customer service, we had a battery change a year ago at their Monroe location & the battery died on us after one year later. at first the guy at the front deak refuse to help us w/ out a reciept & we told them it’s been a year & we dont keep them. ask him to look it up on their system but he refuse to stating it was done in another location. we came back 5 min later just willing to pay for it eventhough it was still under warranty. there was another guy at the front desk & told him about our story again & he did not give us a hard time & told us he could call the Monroe location to verify the work order done on the car; too bad i did not get his name. if it wasnt for this guy we would not use pepboys again.
