I was a vet tech for years, and Todd is the only person I trust to care for my dog. Selfishly I want him all to my self, but I would recommend his pet sitting services to anyone. He is responsible, caring, and easy to communicate with.

We have been using SK for a few years, while my husband has used SK for over 10 years. Every time we pick up, our dog is so happy and well-cared for! Todd is incredibly pleasant and goes out of his way to make sure our pets feel right at home. He’s always so accommodating when it comes to their needs, making sure any special instructions are followed to a T. Whether it’s a last-minute drop-off or a longer stay, we know our dogs are in great hands. It’s comforting to know they are with someone who genuinely loves animals as much as we do. Highly recommend!!

Todd is one of the people I trust the most with my dog, a 7 year old black lab. He takes good care of her to the point where she believes he is her second owner. Todd is a great communicator, flexible, and organized. He keeps his kennels very clean. The icing on the cake is that he is a dog trainer and has excellent knowledge dogs. His rates are also affordable and fair. My dog loves Old Salem Kennel!

My Wife and I were fortunate enough to work with and meet Todd at Old Salem Kennel. Todd was very keen to detail when creating a tailored one month training/boarding plan with our Boykin puppy. Todd's years of gundog training and expertise allowed him to have an efficient "train the trainer" session with my wife, myself, and our pup halfway through the month. This allowed us to continue working on the foundation and fundamentals that Todd instilled on our Boykin. We are more than happy with the results provided, as well as grateful for Old Salem Kennel keeping our pup safe and well cared for during the recent hurricane!

I have been taking my dog to Todd's kennel since 2019 and have always had a positive experience. My dog has stayed at Old Salem for anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. It is a great property (clean and spacious) and Todd is really great with ensuring that my dog is taken care of. I would highly recommend.

Todd took great care of both my dogs during their month long training/boarding stay. I was so impressed with how well they walk on a lead now and are doing well with their basic obedience training. Incredible value! Would definitely recommend
