I called Meehan on a Saturday for what I thought was a smoke detector problem. Jeff called me back quickly, listened closely to what I was describing, and walked me through a number of possibilities. Although he offered to have someone come Monday, or to come sooner if I wanted them to (noting that it would be expensive & it didn't seem necessary, based on the situation), with his guidance I was able to figure it out & resolve the immediate issue. Great service, focused on helping rather than taking advantage of the situation. Jeff is knowledgeable, ethical, kind, and helpful. I'll call them again when I need an electrician.

Meehan Electric was the third company I called on a Friday evening for an issue that caused my parent’s home to lose power. I left a message and Jeff Meehan took the time to call me Saturday on his day off. He had a crew out at my parent’s home by Monday morning. They showed up on time, the were courteous, professional, & efficient. The issue was fixed; & power was restored the same day. In terms of pricing we received around the same quote from three companies. As far as reliability between the three companies one lied and never showed up on Friday when he said he would. He never called or sent a text to cancel even though he knew they were without power in the dead of heat. The other at least called to cancel their Wednesday appointment. Stick with Meehan you’ll be happy you did.

Jeff was phenomenal! I called him while he was busy with another client. He called me back just like he said he would and freaking fixed my electrical issue over the phone! I mean that is what's up! He could have easily taken me for at least a service call but he didn't he simply asked me a few simple questions and told me about a button in the middle of my outlet that needed to be reset. Boom problem fixed! I never would have known the difference if someone came out here and plugged around for an hour or so pretending to do all this work or sold me a whole new set of outlets for my kitchen. What an honest straight up guy. If I ever need an electrician in the future I will not hesitate to call this wonderful gentleman. Stay way from those corporate jokers like Mr. Sparky. They would have cost me $80 just to tell me what Jeff told me for nothing, and that was just for a service call no work performed. It is so nice to meet someone that isn't trying to screw you over when most people that need service are already down on their luck. Thank you Jeff
