Kovack was recommended to us for our AC issues. At first it seemed ok but after signing and financing it became a nightmare. My AC went out on July 2nd, they came out July 3rd and told us they would be there to install on July 9th. I received a text and email confirmation. At 2pm on the 9th I called to find out when they were coming to install and the owner said that they were coming Thursday and had no idea why I received a confirmation beyond him telling me as well he was coming that day. When they arrived they displayed no customer service in assuring that I knew they were on my property or their game plan how they were going to get the unit place. The owner went to remove the unit from his trailer and did not properly unchain the unit causing it to fall off the skid steer and dent it. They also did not remove the tracks on the bottom so it would have a properly displacement of weight on the new pad. After speaking to the owner earlier that week I found him to be condescending and rude. He talks over me the entire time I tried to talk and ask questions so I can be prepared for his arrival. During installation my husband and I decided it to be best if he looked at it when he got home from work and dealt with him rather than me. When he came home we found not only the unit dented, but trash everywhere, sloppy installation, the unit not leveled, gaps under the damaged pad, and no p-trap installed on the drain but yet placed so that the runoff would erode the unit over time. They sent the owners son out to fix it twice. We told him to have his dad call so that we can discuss the damage. I refused to approve payment until that discussion. When he finally called, again condescending and talked over me. He said the unit was not damaged that it worked. I said you know what why don’t you call my husband and you all discuss this, I don’t appreciate not getting a chance to say what I have to say. To which he said he’s going to put a lien on my house. I am fully prepared to release the funds but not for a dented unit. If you purchased a brand new truck and the dealer dented it, would you still take it because it still works? Horrible company, disrespectful towards women, not at all good communicators and display very poor workmanship. Added: the story has not changed I told you to call my husband and you have not. I recorded our last conversation so we will have that to use as well. Thank you proving how condescending you are.

I had a great experience with Kovack. They really seem to care about their customers. I have and will continue to recommend them. They listened to my concerns and addressed each one, and gave me a variety of options that would best fit my situation. Scott was who assisted me. He was really personable and not at all pushy. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me at any point. I had several estimates from different companies, they were the best choice. If you need service or a system replacement like me, I would highly recommend giving them a chance to get your business.

Mike and his technician Kevin are a true blessing. They are both incredibly professional and punctual. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable when he came out to look at the current RUDD system we had in our home. Explained everything to us in a way that we understood. When Kevin came out to install our system on 6/19 he was very professional, answering all of our questions and letting us know where he was on the install and about how long it would take. He was here for longer than expected,b stayed until the job was done and done correctly. I have nothing but praise to say about this company and its staff for the amazing job that they did during the entire process and getting us a new system before the heat of summer strikes!

The whole experience of replacing our heat and air system was wonderful. Our furnace stopped working on Saturday. I was able to call for an appointment on Tuesday, met Mike Wednesday, had financing in place and the installed scheduled for Friday. Mike responded quickly, answered my questions fully, and discussed the options openly. The install team was prompt, courteous, worked efficiently, and left everything neat and clean after they finished even with having to work in the rain.

Mike came out the same day we called when we had a problem with our Trane to give us a quote on repairs. I felt confident choosing them. Bill and Nate came out on the weekend since I couldn't get off work to fix our unit. On time, friendly, very knowledgeable and was comfortable to be around. He answered all my questions with professionalism. They got our unit back and running and I love the thoroughness from them. We will be going with them from now on. I recommend them hands down!! 👍

Friendly, prompt service on short notice! I needed to have a system checked and serviced at a rental home that I was in the process of selling. I contacted Kovack early on a Tuesday morning to ask about having this done and whether or not they would have any way to fit me in the same day as I wouldn't be around the rest of the week. I was told that they shouldn't have an issue fitting me in and that the tech would give me a call when he was on the way. The system in this property also required a 16x20x5 media filter which generally runs about $40-50 extra, which I was prepared to pay. The technician called at about 1:00pm to say he was 30 minutes away. I wasn't where I could meet him at the moment, but since I had another person there doing some work at the time, I told him he shouldn't have any issue getting in and out as-needed. He went, checked the system and called me back to let me know everything was in great shape and the filter wasn't yet ready to be replaced. They could have easily replaced it and billed me for it, but did not. I greatly appreciate the honesty that they exhibited and will most definitely be using them in the future to service my systems at my personal residence. Awesome job and I HIGHLY recommend Kovack Mechanical if you're in need of an honest, reliable HVAC contractor.

My husband and I made several calls to get price quotes on an heat/a/c unit, since ours went out after 23 years(yes it was time for an upgrade)! We chose Kovack because their price couldn't be beat and I'm glad we made that choice. They came in at their scheduled appointment time and worked fast and efficiently. I'm not sure the thoroughness of the maintenance inspection. I have two units (heat pumps) and the tech was here for a total of 30 minutes. This was my first experience with Kovack. I previously used another heating company and the tech would take close to two (2) hours to do a complete checkup. I was told the cost of the checkup included filters. What I didn't realize that it would be the filters that I provided and not that they provided. All I can add is that I have the invoice showing the maintenance has been performed and that is what I need to keep the warranty intact. I'm giving them 2 stars as the tech was nice and so are the people in the office.
