We’ve been using Houseman services for the past four years and have always been satisfied, but today’s experience truly stood out. Technician Lotalrio Cooper visited our home for a routine termite inspection and went above and beyond his duties. While inspecting, he noticed a water leak in the crawl space, which turned out to be coming from our refrigerator. He not only identified the issue but also clearly explained the source of the leak and how it was affecting the area underneath. Mr. Cooper was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the visit. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. Technicians like him are a great asset to Houseman, and we sincerely appreciate his workmanship and dedication. Highly recommend Houseman and especially Mr. Cooper for their exceptional service!

I've used Houseman for over a decade personally and my family had Houseman with Joe Houseman coming out for 25 years before that. Breaking with them because I got German roaches and it's an extra $400 charge despite having their regular quarterly service (and when they are not even bad) with no warning from the 2 service providers who came out (or anywhere on their website) that this was going to cost so much extra. Switching providers because other companies include German Roach coverage for just a few dollars more per quarter.

We were told by the billing department that if our mosquito removal service didn’t work they would spray our yard again. Not only was their service ineffective, but they did not honor their promise to respray the yard.

Off to a rocky start they went to the wrong house the homeowner of the wrong house was home my brother in law who told them they were in the wrong place they refused to leave and continued spraying his yard. The only reason I will continue with them is because of my wonderful customer service rep Natalie. The sign they put in the yard had the wrong date on it also they came the 28Th not the 27th. Hopefully the next tech they send out can follow directions to the right address and know what day it is.

(Edit: 26-SEP-17) Moving up from 2 stars to 3, after they contacted me, apologized (I accepted!) and refunded the cost of the work I was dissatisfied with. I appreciated the gesture and might even try them again... (Original) I enlisted lawncare services from Houseman in our new home in Oconee County, including basic lawn care and chemical treatments. After ~2 months, I cancelled all services for a series of issues that ultimately became too much for me to accept. First, I'd like to point out the positive aspects of my experience with them: ---Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional. ---Mowing and edging met my expectations. ---Pricing was clearly explained, and billing was straightforward. Here are the negative aspects, from minor to major: ---Each time a lawn treatment was performed, my hoses were disconnected and left on the ground for me to reconnect. ---After a lawn service, I would find grass clippings blown on top of and underneath our patio furniture. ---I had multiple issues getting in touch with my representative initially. The first time I called, I was transferred and hung up on. I called right back, and was told I couldn't have the direct number for my rep because it was a personal cell phone, but a message would be left for him. Several days later, I called again, and was told at that point I'd get a call by the end of the day; I didn't. As already mentioned, everyone was very nice, but the bottom line was that it was like pulling teeth to get in touch. ---I have a fenced-in back yard, and a dog who we let roam within in it. One day, Houseman left my back gate wide open after a routine cutting. My dog got out. Not good. ---This final note was the nail in the coffin for me: I arranged with my Houseman rep to have some weeds pulled from the lawn itself, above and beyond the normal bed clearing they perform. I was told if it wasn't done on Tuesday along with the mowing, it would be done Friday. They didn't get to it on Tuesday (lawn was mowed but weeds left in beds), so I assumed it would be done on Friday as promised. It wasn't, and I realized this after 6pm on a Friday night, with no call/text from my rep and company arriving for the weekend. When I contacted him, he apologized and said he'd get to it Monday. Monday evening, I return home from work around 6pm and sure enough, weeds are still there, and again, I received no call or text. It's becoming frustrating now, and I calmly contact my rep again. This time, I'm told he would personally be out first thing Tuesday morning with a crew to get it done. Instead, he sent someone else (at this point, I simply can't trust anything he tells me, which isn't something you want from a service provider) who called to tell me they had met the $200 limit I set for labor, as I requested - no problem there. He said the front was "done," and asked if I wanted any additional weeds to be pulled in the back, to which I replied "please just get the beds in the back; leave the lawn weeds." When I arrive home, not a single weed was pulled from the beds up front, some of which were nearly a foot tall, so I pulled them myself (pictures attached, and these came only from the front yard). Although a small section up front looked great, they completely bypassed the right side of my house, along with the beds, and left clearly visible weeds in the beds in the back. My rep told me the 3-person crew spent an hour in the back yard, but a) he wasn't there, b) my wife was inside the whole time unbeknownst to the crew, and c) there were maybe 15 minutes worth of weeds to pull in total in the back yard for one person let alone three, and they didn't even get all of them. I politely asked my rep to cease services and send me the final $200+ bill to "pull weeds" that doesn't include the piles I pulled myself shown in the pictures. I wouldn't call that a great value, especially since the beds are part of normal, routine service. Based on my personal experience with this particular crew, I would best describe Houseman as kind, friendly, but incompetent.

I had new sod installed and it was obvious, they came to spray and killed it all. The very unprofessional lady was rude and blamed me for not telling them. I had a protective fence around the area. I had it on video of them spraying it. They never offered to pay for it or correct their mistake. They sent a supervisor and I had more business lined up for them but, after speaking to the RUDE lady, I decided to cancel. How businesses allow their employees to talk down to others is beyond me.
