This business deserves NO STAR but, since I must star-rate, one star. **His business card has the "BBB accredited" logo which is a lie because, on the BBB website, his business is not BBB accredited. His rating is A+ but there are only 2 customer reviews. How legitimate is that A+? This business is very unprofessional, disrespectful, untrustworthy, and insulting. HomeStar Pest Solutions was recommended by another local pest control business because HomeStar Pest Solutions provided a service they did not. Payment was made upfront because Shane said no installment payments, even though on his answering machine, it gave a link/payment portal for payments. I was told the price of $1250 includes 3 visits. The first appointment was September 1st, 2021 at 12 pm EST. Shane was punctual, knowledgeable, and helpful. The other two appointments was set up for September 15th at 2 pm and October 1st (I did not write down the time but my memory is thinking the time was 1 pm for Oct 1st). On September 15th at 2 pm, Shane did not show up. I called him and he said the appointment was actually on the 16th and reconfirmed the October 1st appointment. On September 16th at 2 pm, Shane did not show up. I called him and left a voicemail. He showed up around 3:30-3:45 pm!!! An hour and a half late!!! For the October 1st appointment, he never came even though he claimed he did at 4:15 pm per his automobile's GPS. He called MY MOM A LIAR for telling me he didn't show up. Shane then started saying the fee paid was really for the initial visit and the other two were more complimentary. Shane took advantage of my mom because of a language barrier and I live out of state. He disrespected and insulted my mom's intelligence. I support small businesses but to have experience this type of treatment is unforgivable!

A 5-Star rating from me! I had a great experience with Homestar Pest Solutions! I was lucky enough to work directly with the owner "Shane". He was on time and came ready to work. He was informative, quick, clean and tidy. Homestar guarantees their work and did so even when other companies refused to do the job or follow-up after. I would definitely recommend Homestar to anyone with a carpenter bee issue. They also exterminate many other types of pests.

Call this business up about bed bug services. Shane was the professional that came out to my house. He was kind and friendly that's what we thought. A genuine guy. But he NEVER came to my house for the third treatment! My mom had to call my sister and ask her to call this service up asking why they didn't show up for the third treatment. She called and they said that Shane did but how can that be when he NEVER shown up because my mom was waiting for him. Shane LIED about showing up and told my sister that my mom was a LIAR! How unprofessional can a business be when they have to LIE to a customer who paid fully for the service but the business only jip the customer of the service. DON'T FALL FOR THEIR DIRTY SCHEMES. THEY WILL JIP YOU OF YOUR SERVICES AND RUN WITH THE MONEY!

Call Shane for all your pest control needs. We had some bugs and just general creepy crawly things and hadn't had a service in a while. Once Shane came out and treated, we haven't seen anymore bugs. Wonderful service and great prices.
