We had our HVAC system installed by a different company three years ago, and it never worked properly from day one. Despite our repeated concerns, they insisted nothing was wrong. Frustrated and desperate for answers, we finally called Hale’s Heating and Cooling for a second opinion—and I’m so glad we did! From the moment the tech arrived, it was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. Within just 15 minutes, he identified several issues the original installers completely missed or didn’t do. He took the time to show me pictures and clearly explain everything. We scheduled the repair work, and now our system is running perfectly! All of the employees were prompt, professional, kind, and incredibly respectful throughout the entire process. Their pricing was more than fair, and I really appreciated their honesty. Hales has done an amazing job! I recently had another co come out and they failed miserably. So, the company that failed miserably quoted me a price of $1700 to replace an expansion valve, Hales came out and immediately figured out that it was not the expansion valve and fixed what was wrong for $330. They squeezed me in on a very busy week with the temperatures in the 90s every day and I will recommend them to anyone that I meet that needs air-conditioning work done.

Hale’s honored the warranty from a different company when our air conditioner stopped working.They were able to expedite the part needed so we didn’t have to wait 2 months! I would recommend Hale’s to anyone that needs a new system or just repair…they really are the best!

I've heard so many great things about Hale's Heating and Cooling, so I decided to give them a call. I wanted a second opinion about work that another company said I needed, and it just didn't seem right. A very sweet lady named Macy answered the phone and set up an appt with Roberto that afternoon. Roberto was on time, professional and wasted no time checking my HVAC out. When he finished, he showed me pictures of what he recommended to be done. I appreciate the fact that things were explained thoroughly. I was quoted a price that was reasonable, so I asked Macy to scheduled the work. Roberto completed everything, and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you for a great experience and a job well done.

If you are in need of HVAC products, systems, or service, I strongly recommend Hale's. Very recently, we were having an issue with our mini-split system that heated and cooled our bonus room above the garage. Hale's quickly fit us in for an inspection, as we had company that was to utilize that room arriving within days. Upon inspection, it was apparent that we needed to replace the system. Knowing we were up against a time crunch, they miraculously fit us in on very short notice. The techs arrived early, and worked efficiently to ensure our install was complete. When our neighborhood lost power in the middle of the day, they promised to return when power returned to complete the job, which they in fact did! Both the front office staff and the techs were diligent in assuring that a very hectic day did not end with us not having air conditioning for our guests. We found everyone at Hale's to be kind, honest, and incredibly dependable. After hearing (and experiencing) horror stories with other HVAC providers, Hale's is clearly our go -to for any and all HVAC needs from now on. If you are in need, give them a call. We can’t thank Hale’s Heating and Cooling enough for the incredible service they provided when our HVAC unit stopped putting out heat in the middle of January. Our house was absolutely freezing—we were relying on small Buddy heaters just to stay warm. We called Hale’s, and they had someone out the very next day to assess the situation. It turned out we needed a completely new unit, and they handled everything quickly and professionally. From removing the old system to installing the new one, they had everything done within a week—which, in the dead of winter, felt like a miracle. Every step of the process was smooth and stress-free. The office manager was kind and helpful, keeping us updated and answering all our questions. The installers were prompt, respectful of our home, and clearly knew what they were doing. We’re so grateful for the outstanding service and fast turnaround. Our home is warm again, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hale’s Heating and Cooling to anyone in need of HVAC help. Huge shout out to Hale’s Heating and Cooling for an awesome job. We recently had to replace 2 furnaces. I must admit, I am biased, but I am also Hale’s toughest critic. His team did a great job. The technicians were knowledgeable, respectful, conscientious and left my home just as it was found! Trey was supervising the entire process checking in frequently. The dual fuel units by Carrier have surpassed my expectations. I am beyond satisfied with a job well done! I personally highly recommend Hale’s Heating and Cooling for all of your HVAC needs!!

I'm not a Hale's customer... yet. But you can bet I will be in the future based on my recent experience with them. I called Hale's two weeks ago, during the peak of a heatwave, asking for a quote on a new unit. The bonus room where my two young kids sleep was 90 degrees, and I had tried everything I knew to fix it myself. Trey came out and didn't even mention a new unit. He suggested, "Why don't we just recharge it and see what happens? Maybe we'll save you from buying a new unit just yet." Despite not having a meter on him, he took the time out of his busy schedule (where I'm sure his phone was ringing off the hook) to drive home and grab one. He recharged the unit and didn't charge me a dime, saying he "hoped my boys would have a comfortable room now." He even followed up the next day to make sure the room was still cooling properly. To me, real customer service is treating every person like your most important client, even when they aren't your highest-paying job (and in this case, not paying at all). Hale's is the type of company we should be proud to have serving the Oconee/Athens area. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Honest people, fair prices.! They fixed my 5 ton system for almost nothing. Absolutely better than Jordan Air in Crawford. They tried to make me replace the whole system.
