Georgia Green has been a wonderful community to me the past few years. I absolutely love the entire office, and they’re always so supportive with whatever I need. I’ve always felt so at home here as well, and I love the amenities! My personal favorite is the dog washing station so I don’t have to bathe them in the bath tub. If you’re looking for somewhere that balances both reasonable in price while offering a warm and close community, come stay here!

All of the staff are kind and helpful. Whenever something needs to be fixed, they take care of it right away, and they always consider the needs of the residents. Thanks to their kindness and warm smiles, I feel like I’ll be able to adjust well to this new environment. Thank you so much!!!

I lived here for three years and under two managements. We never had a problem with the management- always kind and helpful. Our time here was not horrible by any means, but it definitely started going downhill in the last year. Pros: -lived on an end unit with a quiet and clean neighbor, so never had any smell or noise complaints -very affordable, rent only went up $100 each year -close to downtown -sooo much closet/storage space Cons: -at one point, the pool was closed for an entire year -every thing on the interior is old and outdated, including but not limited to AC, the floors, and the cabinets -constantly had issues with AC and toilets. Maintenance requests were responded to in a timely manner, but issues were never truly fixed. Instead, there was always a band-aid fix, resulting in having the same issues over and over -when there was mold in the downstairs bathroom, they just painted over it... -Grounds are constantly disgusting, especially the dumpsters and dog poop everywhere. The dog stands were always empty of bags and overfull with poop. Management constantly sent emails about these issues, but other residents continued to do it -children constantly in the road and outside playing with no adult supervision -AC does not work upstairs and especially in the summer -people constantly blasting music late at night Overall, it was a mediocre experience. If you're looking for a cheaper place to live in Athens, it's a good fit, but expect what you pay for.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. My roommate and I lived here over the course of two years and moved out July. Over the course of those two years, we experience numerous difficulties with our apartment and the staff. To name a few; black mold or mildew throughout the entire ventilation system of the apartment, multiple toilets not flushing at all, A roach infestation, a black widow infestation, Numerous break in attempts, car robberies, our ceilings falling through, rats and squirrels in the walls, and just a general unsafe environment. Management was horrible, the pool was in a state of swamp consistently. I had to have my window unit removed My room because it was full of black mold. From the time my roommate and I moved in We would get extremely sick constantly, Presumably from breathing in the mold. When we brought concerns about the mold to Management, they continuously neglected it , as well as tell me that it is just dust. There are no security cameras throughout the complex, dispite frequent bulguries. My roommate was attacked by a strung out naked man when she was leaving our apartment . Upon moving in, the toilet didn’t flush, the doors were falling off the hinges , The carpet was disgusting, and there was a huge rip in the middle of floor. All management wrote , “wear and tear.” Over $100 increase in rent by year you live there. Doors consistently fell off the hinges, Our blinds would fall down, our stove would cease to work, And there were roaches everywhere. We are clean people and cleaned every day, however the place was always disgusting. Pool was closed the entire summer. We didn’t have any animals, yet the apartment always smelled like animal pee since the day we moved in. Whatever you do, wherever you go, do not move here.

Way too expensive, I moved in when it was a good price but every year it went up so much. They only have two bedrooms and one is really small. They area is good and it is nice but way too much.

This use to be a good place to live. It has too many problems..... the water is cut off every 6 months. We cant keep a maintenance person, every couple of weeks their is a new person coming into your personal space. I told them i had mold in the apartment some one took a mold test......I don't even know the results. They want you to pay this high price but nothing has improved. I think its disgusting how they want you to live yet they don't care because they don't have to stay here. So sad

I've been living at Georgia green for almost 4 years now. The staff is always so kind, helpful, and amazing. That goes from Kathy and Savanna in the front office down to the maintenance man! Anytime you need them or just have any concerns they are right there to help!

I've been living at Georgia green for about 10 years now. The staff is always so kind and helpful. They are very pet friendly and always quick to respond to any issues. I would highly recommend Georgia Green apartments to anyone looking for a place to live.

I am a long term tenant of Georgia Green and am giving the maintenance staff and Kathy and Savanna a 5 star review because it is well deserved. The townhomes are well maintained, as well as the grounds being well kept. My experience with Kathy (Manager of the premises) is that she promptly responds to ALL maintenance requests. She assures that all issues will be handled and resolved immediately and she always kept me abreast as to the date and approximate time of the repair. Her communication with the tenants is excellent and well appreciated. Savanna(Assistant Property Manager) is pleasant, proficient, as well as knowledgeable. She immediately submitted all of my maintenance requests and has always effectively answered every question that I may have had regarding lease/rental renewal issues and so much more. Thanks to all of you. You make Georgia Green a pleasurable place to live.

Kathy and her staff have done amazing things to the Georgia Green community around! They bring empathy & compassion to the table for their tenants. These apartments aren’t just a money grab for them, they truly want to make a home you are comfortable living in. They are SO efficient at what they do. If you have a maintenance issue it most likely going to be fixed the same day you put it in. The communication about what’s going on in the complex in the past few months is more than I ever heard the first year and a half I lived here. They have taken on a huge job of taking over a complex headed downhill and are doing an amazing job! I would 100% recommend living here under the new management! Thank you guys for all you do!
