I reached out to management for a rental as I am an enrolled full time student. The conversation was going well and sounded very promising until I stated that I am 40 years old. After stating my age, I was quickly and bluntly told that this wasn't going to work because of my age. Im too old. If I'm not mistaken, this is a violation of the Fair Housing Act. I have proof of this and I will be reaching out to higher ups about this. I would assume that because of my age I am less likely to be taken advantage of? I'm not quite sure what is going on with this company but please beware. There is something very wrong and stinky about this situation. I was under the assumption that this company was legit and handled business appropriately and legally..

Great location and lots of character. With old buildings like this you have to expect certain things. The floors are in really bad condition (large cracks that collect so much dirt), there's what seems to be black mold on the pipes in the bathroom, and we've had a few maintenance issues, but Cobblestone was usually pretty good about fixing them. It's important to note I live in the 100's. I will also note that in my year and a half of living here, I've only seen 1 roach and just a few small bugs. In my bedroom personally, I have a lofted bed and no windows, like many of the units in the 100's. It isn't for everyone, but its pretty cozy and I sleep very well at night. The cleaning period between leases is terrible, so expect to do your own deep clean before moving in. Sound can be an issue. Sirens passing by are extremely loud from the living room, but they don't wake me up from my room at night. The people on the 200's like to run through the hallways which often keeps me up (especially on weekends). Also... there is no on-site parking so be prepared to pay $120/ month for parking at the classic center. If you're a UGA student looking to live here, I highly recommend getting a parking pass at N03 or N02 (ASAP), but it took me a year of being on the waitlist before I got a spot. But overall, I would say I've enjoyed living here for the location and the vibes. It's not the most comfortable, but its a cool place to live (all things considered).

This place is poorly managed by CollegeTown Properties. There are many flaws. The floors are old. My roof leaks and even though they’ve come to fix it, it still leaks. The laundry is incredible hard to get to and then overpriced. They have card readers for the laundry but they don’t even work. I currently have four leaks in my roof, which is why I’m posting this. Someone came and temporarily stopped one leak, but tonight there are 3 more. I had mold in my bathroom which someone did come and take care of. In August the air conditioning broke twice, making it unbearably hot. This place could be so much more, but college town keeps letting me down with its haphazard maintainer procedures and lack of care for current tenants.

Living in downtown Athens offers many benefits and challenges. The management at College Town Properties (especially Jake) went above and beyond to make sure this was a safe and accessible apartment. They have worked hard to provide a clean and affordable option for students close to UGA and the downtown area . Thanks again for all you do.

Farmer’s is such a cool place for UGA students. It’s a 5 minute walk to north campus, close enough downtown that you feel like you’re there but without all the downtown noise & is a historic building with so much character! After acquiring the property CollegeTown has done an awesome job of renovating & modernizing the space while maintaining the cool, old school feel Farmer’s is known for!

Had multiple mice in my apartment, ant infestation, washers and dryers were broken on many occasions. Windows and doors were broken when we moved in.

Lived here for three years during college. 100s and 200s I give 5/5 stars. 300s gets a 1/5 stars (cockroaches).

This place is awesome! The location is perfect and it’s much more affordable than many of the options downtown. It’s very clean and super accessible to campus.
