Josh Martin and Brandon Smith were absolutely amazing. I hadn’t been here in a few years due to moving out of state but every time I’ve come here, there are some of the nicest people ever. They’re extremely diligent and customer oriented. I brought my dog with me this time and they gave him a couple treats and were very understanding about my vocal dog. I will recommend this place anytime and any day. I appreciate their customer service because many places nowadays don’t give two craps. They offered advice and didn’t take advantage of me which again is rare.

I've had two wonderful experiences at Express Oil and would not go anywhere else in Athens! I had a particularly great experience at my most recent visit with Brandon. After moving to Athens, I came to Express Oil based on a recommendation from a friend. I somehow lost the sticker they give you and couldn't remember the name of Express Oil when I needed another oil change, so I visited a competitor right down the street on W Broad St, thinking it would be Express Oil. Their competitor tried to convince me I needed a $200 transmission fluid flush and replacement, but I thought this was fishy based on a few things they said and left without ever getting the service. Flash forward to today, when I needed my oil changed again, and I wound up at Express Oil. I asked if they could check my transmission fluid as well because I was worried it needed to be replaced, and Brandon and another employee showed me the fluid, explained to me what to look out for and why it looked good, and told me I did NOT need to replace it. Brandon also spent time asking questions, explaining things, and was very friendly! If you come here, expect that they will share their knowledge with you and make you feel like they are trustworthy. As someone who knows little about cars, I really appreciated their transparency rather than trying to sell me something I didn't need. Amazing experience & 1000% recommend Brandon and Express Oil!!

I had a great experience at Express Oil Change. I was able to find a coupon online which was awesome, and their pricing was affordable. Josh Martin was the person helping me, and he was awesome. He was super helpful in answering the questions I had and I didn’t feel like he (or anyone else) was trying to get me to pay for any extra add ons. I’ll definitely go back because Josh was so awesome!

The service tech here (Joshua Martin) was extremely helpful. I have been to several other places to have car serviced and was never in and out so fast. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Explaining every thing he had done to fix my car and even informed me if of future repairs that I might want to look into. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone.
