Couldn’t recommend Dixon Kennels enough!! We have had excellent experiences leaving our dogs for short and long stays. The owners are super responsive and truly care for all the dogs. Our dogs love going to Dixon Kennels! The kennel spaces and yards are kept clean and safe. The kennels are also so spacious, our two 65 lb dogs are able to share one kennel. We also love all the social media updates posted during our pups stay!

Dan and Jenny are very nice and accommodating on our short notice need for boarding our weims. They did a temperament test and showed us around. Girls passed, and two days later, we were on our way. They answered a text from us very quickly and sent us a short video of them playing outside. Girls were happy and tired when we picked them up - they got a lot of social interaction and outdoor time. Will definitely use Dixon Kennels again!

Edit to say: Yesterday, I picked up my dog who was soaking wet in his kennel for at least 40 minutes. Then I found out the Dixons do not towel dry the dogs. (I even pack a towel for Banjo.) They go from the pouring rain to their kennels. Banjo was soaked to the skin, his bed was soaked, and he looked miserable. We've never had an experience like this here. Had he stayed another night, he would have had to sleep like that. Did he have to lay there soaked the night before? I was told they simply do not have the manpower to dry the dogs. How miserable those babies must be laying there soaking wet on wet beds. I feel for them. This is not ok, and sadly, we won't be back. I never would have imagined the Dixons to be the type of people to find this acceptable; I'm so disappointed. If I was searching for a daycare for my dog, this is the kind of information I would want other dog owners to share with me, so I felt compelled to share for others. I had been looking for the perfect daycare for my boy, Banjo, for years when I found Daniel's place by accident. What a find! Banjo absolutely loves his "vacations" now! I know he is having a blast and socializing with friends, and I have the peace of mind knowing he is in good hands. All you have to do is check out their Instgram page to see what you're getting. Being away from my boy just got easier. We love this place.

Amazing people who take care of your animals like their own. My dogs love coming here, they play outside the majority of the day and get to meet new friends! We drive 40 min to come here because they truly are the best and it’s not even close. We will never take our dogs anywhere else.
