Getting the annual service agreement on my three AC units has been one of the smarter things I have done as a homeowner. Clockwork has been a good partner to have as I nurse along a 20 year old unit. Today, Logan (technician) and another tech that I did not get the name worked hard at servicing the ACs and worked overtime to clear a clogged drain line. They are good guys and I would feel comfortable recommending them to anyone!

Contacted Clockwork on 6/6 in the morning since our AC stopped running, got an appointment for 3 pm, technician was able to come at 10 am, which was great, diagnosed the problem in 15-20 minutes, and said the office would call with an estimate. I paid the $110 diagnostic fee before the technician left. I followed up around 1 pm when there was no call from the office. They explained that even though our AC was still under warranty, they would not be getting the parts through the warranty since they did not want to take on the risk of the part not being covered under the warranty. They said they were still working on the estimate and would call me back later. Today is 6/9, and I still have not heard back. Parts of my house got over 90 degrees, and my baby and I have had to stay in one room in our house air conditioned by a portable AC unit loaned to us from a competitor over the weekend. I'm very unsatisfied as a customer and concerned that all the company wanted was to diagnose our problem and collect the diagnostic fee, which does not count towards the cost of any repairs, due to their lack of follow up and sense of urgency in getting us an estimate.

We used Clockwork Heating & Air Conditioning to repair our ailing system over the past couple of years. They were friendly, quick, thorough and reasonable. The system finally died during the recent mid-August heat wave. I've had a heart attack; my cardiologists tell me to avoid heat. Clockwork couldn't get to us right away, but they brought out two window units to keep things cool. Their review of the types of equipment available was first rate. In just a couple of days the crew that came to do the install worked in a HOT attic for 8 hours to get the job done. The results show great pride in workmanship. They were friendly, explained things simply, and cleaned up so you'd never know they were there. The dog even wanted to play ball with them. That means they were "A 1- OK" and I agree. Thanks, folks!!

Logan was fantastic. He came on time, identified the problem, showed me pictures and explained the issue, fixed it, and made sure everything was working correctly. He even knew how to work the Ecobee smart thermostats that I have so that he could test the system. My total was $160 ($110 flat rate for the service call and $50 for parts), which I consider reasonable, especially since they were able to send someone day-of (I called at 8:15 am and the tech showed up at 3:00 which was the earliest I could get home). All my interactions with Clockwork have been excellent so far.
