Dr. Harter is by far the best Orthodontist! I have been to his practice since I was a little girl and they have been nothing short of AMAZING with every single visit. I have to go back every so often and get my retainers tightened and I just pick up where I left off with the whole staff. If you want to be treated like family, then come to Dr. Harter's office.

Assisstants are really unprofessional. My wife received orthodontics treatment here. Dentist is okay, but when those nurses are working, they will be always chatting and more importantly, they are unskilled and make mistakes very often.

Perhaps the best run and most efficient medical office in the regional Athens area. They value their patient's time. I’ve been waiting for Dr. Harter and my surgeon to get a second surgery that I was told I’d needed approved but it continuously gets denied because it’s considered cosmetic even though I’m told it’s for medical reasons and when I confronted them about it they said they just needed to send x rays (which they’ve had) but I’m assuming they never did because it was never approved. My braces were wrapped in wire and I was given no further check up appointment. A year later I’m still wanting to get this done and it turns out I’ve been cancelled on and the only thing Dr. Harter is willing to do is take my braces off with no straightening (they are not straight because they’re ready for surgery) or get transferred to another orthodontist even though I’ve already paid him. Ive done nothing wrong except wait for them to get my surgery approved and now they’re just going to drop me. Not only that but the only reason I have not made an appointment in the past year is because I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and I had to have a total thyroidectomy followed by radiation therapy and a lot of in between visits with different doctors. I’m sorry I did not make getting this done a priority.
