I had come to pick up several shirts on 5/31 and the employee who went to grab them, missed the hangers and ended up dragging them across the floor. Every shirt had dirt covering the bottoms and sleeves and needed to be redone. After initially saying no, they were able to have them re-cleaned by this morning (6/1) but offer no discount after he said he would. This was incredibly frustrating as I had to make an extra trip into athens for this. On top of that, I find it really concerning that a three second drag on the floor caused such an excessive amount of dirt on every shirt. This place is not clean or accommodating. I will not be using them again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Good job dry cleaning. Be aware that they charge a 3% service charge for using a credit card, but it doesn’t show up on the receipt they give you. I only noticed this because I paid attention to my card charges. I asked them what the discrepancy was then they printed out the real receipt and gave it to me. Very weird that it’s not on the initial receipt and you have to ask for the real receipt.

SO BAD!! 0 STARS!! Got 2 bridesmaids dresses cleaned here that I was reselling. Black spots are EVERYWHERE!! Not cleaned at all. Terrible.

Place is very dirty inside and out. Ripped my shirt and tried to blame me for dropping it off damaged. Offered $20 to replace a $75 dress shirt. You definitely get the cheap terrible service you pay for. Clothes lost theres no computer system to track when you pick up or drop off. Collars on the shirts not pressed correctly for your ties. Definitely beware

2 days ago i was looking for a dry clean place to take my husband suits, we had a very important event that week and i took 2 of my husband suits, when i went to pick them up i was surprised how cheap they charge me. of course you get what you pay. they burn my husband's suits and they try to cover it. when i saw the suit i was so upset because he pay a lot of money for these suits. please if you read this review don't ever go to this place you will be very disappointed of the service. i don't usually do reviews but this time i know it was the right thing to do. hated this place i hope they close it down.

I absolutely love this dry cleaner. I used to live close by so I went there for convenience but then I moved to the east side and tried a place over there and went straight back to Dry Clean City. They’re way more affordable than everyone else and they do such a good job. Best dry cleaner I’ve ever used in Athens and I’ve used a bunch.

I have a HE washing machine so I am usually able to wash things that are dry clean only, but every once in a while I will try out a dry cleaners to see if they can do better. Dry Clean City is VERY inexpensive. I brought in a silk blouse and paid $2 up front for dry cleaning, though the sign above said it was $1.85 per item. It had a couple of light stains on it that I was using as markers to see how well they did. When I got it back it looked exactly the same; same pressing that I did, same stains, except for one thing. The sleeves were nearly ripped off under the arms. So, not only was my blouse as dirty as when I brought it in, it was severely damaged. Yes, Dry Clean City is cheap. There is a reason for that. Take your money and your dry cleaning elsewhere so it might actually get cleaned and not killed.

I had an expensive (Talbots) red wool blazer recently cleaned by Dry Clean City. When I got it home, I put it on and it had shrunk to at least 2 sizes smaller than its original size (the sleeve now hit me mid forearm and I couldn't button it). I brought it back and they offered to re-clean it and "to stretch" it. When I pick it up again, and tried it on in the dry cleaner, it was still the same small size. The owner, Lee, just sort of shrugged her shoulders and said she couldn't understand what had happened. When I pressed her, and ask, "didn't they compensate the customer if they ruin a piece of clothing?" , she finally relented and gave me 5 free dry cleanings (worth ~$10 total). My jacket cost much more than $10, but what really irritated me was the complete lack of responsibility on their part. I shouldn't have had to ask for compensation, and then be given such a small amount. I won't go back to Dry Clean City.

I took a brand new yellow cardigan to be dry cleaned and recieved it back with holes all in the sleeves and down the side of the garment. When I approached them about the damage, they refused to reimburse me for the garment, even after admitting they had done it. I warned them that I would go to the BBB and even still they refused to oblige. Use them at YOUR OWN RISK. I also own a vest in the same fabric and color as the cardigan and it had been dry-cleaned by someone else in town with no problems. BEWARE of this DRY CLEANER.

Recently, I had a dry cleaning service at this store. I feel like I finally found the dry cleaning store that I have been looking for since I moved in Athens. Their service was great and they have incomparably cheap prices. I strongly recommend their service. you won't be disappointed!
