I had a big block Cadillac V8 crank that needed some rod journals ground. When he was done the entire crank looked better than new. Really solid work at a very reasonable rate. Later on I took in an aluminum Honda 4 cylinder that needed heads resurfaced and cylinders honed. Excellent work and excellent customer service once again. I’ve been impressed enough that I’ll be bringing future projects in to this shop. The owner really knows his stuff, does quality work, and treats you right.

I recommended this place to a friend, after my previous employers have had quality work done here. I was under the impression that this place did good work, at a good price, and on time. I was just informed that the opposite took place. Carroll's had my buddy's engine in their shop for around 2 months and didn't call him one time to update him on pricing, or give him any info on what the progress was. The 'work' that they charged him for was sloppy (cleaned parts were NOT really cleaned) and overpriced. The extremely arrogant attitude of the owner didn't help. Will advise people NOT to go here ever again!

The owner, Dave, is super knowledgeable and is more than willing to answer questions - he seems genuinely interested in helping you solve problems or fix whatever you are working on, rather than charging you as much as he can. Their prices are more than reasonable and the work they do is high-quality.

David took in my flywheel for resurfacing. Got a call the next morning that it was done. When I picked it up the price was right and the thing looked brand new! The staff was friendly and took the time to let me know I need to clean the thin oil residue off when I install it to avoid slippage. Very happy! Will return if I need anything else in the future!
