This team was great to work with. Incredibly considerate and always explaining what they were doing. Sterling (project manager?) made sure that we knew they were taking every precaution to make sure nothing came into the house (my wife is pregnant so we were concerned about fumes and mold spores). They were also efficient without sacrificing quality of work. Would definitely recommend them!

After noticing water pouring down through our kitchen ceiling, we found that our children had stopped up the upstairs toilet. We called 1-800 Water Damage of Athens, whose response time was amazing!! They quickly identified the problem and immediately shut off the water. They recommended we call a licensed plumber to figure out what the issue was. They discussed with us their recommendations for moving forward in a very clear and understandable way. They walked us through the entire insurance process and even helped us file a claim with the insurance company to make sure the details were communicated correctly. Once they began work, they worked with our schedules to get things repaired as quickly as possible. The restoration crews were respectful, clean, fast, and did a great job. When all of this happened, my anxiety was out the roof until Chad and his team got started. There is no way we can fully express how grateful we are for the way the 1800 team helped us put this terrible situation behind us, and our kitchen looks better than ever!!!

Chad and his team were super quick at getting to our home and stopping the water damage from getting worse. We had water everywhere in our kitchen and they got it dried up and were able to save our cabinet faces so we could get them rebuilt. The insurance adjuster even commented on how well they did at removing our very large granite countertop without damaging it and for keeping the water damage to a minimum. Working with Chad and his team helped us tremendously as we had never experienced anything like this before. I hope I never need them again, but if I do, there is not anyone else I would call.

I had high hopes for 1-800 Water Damage, but my experience with their rebuild team has been nothing short of a nightmare. The initial response and mitigation were handled promptly and professionally. Holly Fields was an absolute angel at answering my calls and getting updates for me. The team was courteous, efficient, and respectful of our property. They set a positive tone for what I hoped would be a smooth process. It is unfortunate that they let her go because she was the only good thing I can say about this company. Unfortunately, the rebuild team has been a complete disappointment. It took over a month to receive an estimate for two open projects, despite numerous follow-ups. Since then, the projects remain incomplete, with no clear timeline for completion. I've made countless phone calls, each time receiving promises that work would be completed the following week. Yet, each week passes without progress. The lack of communication is appalling. There's a clear absence of urgency and professionalism, leaving me feeling neglected and frustrated. I would have thought having so many units under my management they wouldn't have handled these two projects the way that they did considering I could have provided them with plenty of business. At this point, I regret choosing 1-800 Water Damage for the rebuild phase and am left questioning whether the initial positive experience was merely a fluke. I cannot recommend their rebuild services to anyone.

Chad from 1-800 Water Damage of Athens came out immediately to access the damage and cause of our problem. They immediately started protecting my house from further damage. They covered furniture, etc.. to protect everything, moved heavy pieces out of the rooms, set up protection in the doorways to try to eliminate dust and fumes to go through the house. They put protection down on my hardwood floors while all the work was going on. They are professional and meticulous. I highly recommend 1-800 Water Damage. Casey was very thorough with letting us know the steps necessary to proceed and was hands on throughout the entire process. They are a full service company. They ripped the damaged area out and replaced everything with new material. The great thing about the whole process was that I didn’t have multiple companies in and out of my house.

We were surprised one morning with a clogged main drain line that resulted in a sewage overflow of two toilets in our home. Waste water (sewage) seeped from an upstairs bathroom through the floors and ceiling, and dropped into the hardwood floors of our living room. The downstairs toilet overflowed through our hallway and through the drywall, under our cabinets and into our kitchen. The water poured into our air vent, into our air ducts and into our crawl space. Within 30 minutes of the incident happening that morning, Scott was at our house with his entire crew shortly to follow. They were efficient in getting right to work to mitigate any further damage. Their team was professional and their process was top-notch. We were informed of the appropriate steps and given advice on how best to to navigate the process. Because of Scott's explanations, we were confident in his team's expertise to properly sanitize and dry out our home. During the drying days when the air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and fans were in the house, the crew leader, Armondo, was very communicative, always giving us sufficient notice on when he would be dropping by the house to check. He was very diligent as he probed areas for moisture, making sure that everything was getting dry and nothing was overlooked. The biggest compliment that I can share about this crew is about their cleanliness. Not only did our insurance adjuster make a comment to us about their clean up, but several contractors did as well. They made clean, straight cuts on the drywall, making for easier repairs. They did a good job avoiding damage to any of the unaffected areas during the demo process, as well. They did a very good job in cleaning up all construction debris, maintaining all our personal property and using plastic to create barriers for the areas of our house that were not affected. Our unaffected floors were protected with paper, and all the debris was carried away and discarded. Highly recommend!

We had a massive water leak in the downstairs of our church ( Canvas Church ) Flooded several rooms 1-800 did a Fantastic Job of repairing all of the damage to the floors and walls. Floors and sheet rock replaced. The final results are AMAZING !!! I highly recommend 1-800 Water Damage for any of your water repair needs.

Had a burst pipe at a condo an hour and a half away from home. Called Chad at 1800waterdamage and they had a crew up there within 2 hours! They scheduled the emergency plumber to find the leak and get it fixed. They dealt with the insurance company after I filed the claim and took it from there. Adjuster was so frustrating and I’m glad I didn’t have to deal with them during this stressful time! Met them up there and they had every cool tool and documented for insurance for me. FLIR, moisture meters, etc, they took pics of all the damage, wet spots, stuff behind the wall, under the flooring, and more. They got our Airbnb back up and running before the next scheduled guests so we didn’t lose any revenue due to the leak. We have used other people in the past that used different techniques and now that I saw how they do it, I’m questioning my past decisions. Would give them 6 stars if I could!
