We lived at Athens Highlands for a year-and-a-half, and it was hands down our favorite place in Athens to live! Tammy, our property manager, always addressed any issues we had really quickly, and she has the sunniest disposition! I can't recommend this complex enough - the dog park was perfect for our pup, and the green space was always well cared for and shaded from the sun. We loved our back patio, and the high ceilings in the apartment. If we ever travel back to Athens, GA I will be checking for vacancies here first! Thank you Tammy, and thank you Athens Highlands!

I stayed with my family for 1 year. First of all, Thank you for everything to Ms. Tammy. She is really a perfect manager for Athens Highlands. If we look at the residences; The location is perfect. Safe area. Automatic Gate. Free parking. Peaceful. "Ideal for Graduate Students and Families. Walking distance to UGA Campus and Downtown Athens. Quiet community. In addition; it is so close to Super markets and School (Howard B. Elementary School) WE LOVED THERE. THANKS AGAIN TO MS. TAMMY.

We have loved living at Athens Highlands! The property manager Tammy is so so nice and always wants to make sure your experience living here is the best it can be. Apartments are very clean and neighbors are quiet and friendly. Rent is very reasonable. Maintenance is awesome- super fast and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is clean and working. Not to mention you’ll get an absurd amount of closet space. Highly recommend to anyone looking to make their home in Athens.

I am the roommate Brittany (Brit N.) who posted a review a couple of months ago is referring to and I can assure you that what she said is not true as she is just being spiteful. Athens Highlands is the BEST apartment I lived in while in college if we exempt the fact that I lived with a psychopath whom I went to the court to try to get a restraining order against after she threatened to strangle and kill me. As opposed to what Brittany said that Tammy allowed me to deduct my security deposit, Tammy did not let me deduct my deposit. But, I did deduct my security deposit from my last rent since Brittany intentionally and continually clogged the bath tub, flushed down paper towels and cloth towel, left several bags of trash in the sitting room, intentionally trashed the bathroom etc. (see pictures below) so I had to deduct my security deposit so I do not have to pay for the cleaning up of Brittany's mess. In spite of how Brittany intentionally clogged the bathroom, Tammy was kind and did not charge us for the repair. Brittany mentioned that she couldn't do a walkthrough because I wasn't cooperating and Tammy asked her to get out of her office. This is because we were still in the middle of the rent with a couple of weeks to go and she wanted me to move out of the apartment when she did. She was asking Tammy to ask me to take out all of my stuffs which is something Tammy cannot do since our contract has not ended. In fact, I was away for the weekend when she moved out and she trashed (or maybe took it with her?) my personal items that were in the common area and ALL of my food items in the kitchen which is worth over $200 before I got back. The roaches she mentioned is because of the condition she kept the apartment. She moved out of the apartment with LITERALLY the same dirty dishes she brought in and even more (Never cleaned dishes unless she needed it to cook and she leaves it there uncleaned afterwards). She intentionally sprayed lotion everywhere in the bathroom and cut her wigs on the floor and bathtub and kept several bags of trash in the living room. So, Yes, the dirts Brittany intentionally created (see pictures) caused roaches to keep coming but Tammy always send the maintenance guy whenever we ask for the service and our apartment also got sprayed for bugs but that did not help since the apartment was always dirty and attracting bugs. Overall, Tammy is a pleasant and friendly person that accommodated us even when she didn't have to. The apartment is always well lit at night and very quiet. Neighbors are friendly and easy going. It is also less than 5 mins from downtown. The closet and kitchen are huge! I would 100% recommend it. As you can see, the apartment has excellent reviews from people that are keeping it real and not being spiteful. I normally don't do reviews (good or bad) but I'm taking the time to write this review in response to the false statements Brittany (Brit N.) made a couple of months ago because it is not fair to the apartment or Tammy since Tammy was very patient with us even when Brittany was intentionally damaging the apartment. As I mentioned earlier, I had to try to get a restraining order against her as she promised to make me pay for her damages. Hence, I took out my security deposit from the last rent I was supposed to pay and she was not happy with that so she posted a false review about the apartment.

I have lived in Athens Highlands for the last 3 years while in grad school and I have no complaints. Tammy, the property manager, is always available and accommodating. The apartment is spacious with huge closets! The community is quite and charming. It's a great place to live and it's very close to UGA campus and downtown.

We have been living in Athens Highlands for almost two years. Because of some old and bad experiences, we were worried but I can never forget the day we came to our apartment. It was perfectly cleaned and looked nice. The apartments are very comfortable and in a good location. There are many cabinets in the apartment. I also need to say that people are very nice. During the time we spend here, all of the maintenance requirements were fixed immediately. And Tammy is a perfect manager. She is always very helpful and kind. Since we will return to our country, we need to move. But If I come to Athens again, I will certainly live in this place.

I just moved into this complex and I LOVE IT!!! Tammy, the property manager, is amazing!! She is personable, funny, and a lover of dogs. She worked with us on a move in date, she respects the residents, and she was an open book- answered all of our questions, was very patient and very kind. The apartment has lots of closet space, peace and quiet, residents are super friendly, and it is the best kept secret of Athens. Can't say enough great things about this place, by far the best experience with a property manager and an apartment complex. I would give this place more stars if I could.

My husband and I had a great experience! They also do short term leases that are affordable, so that was perfect for us. Tammy in the office is so nice and helpful! She really does a great job and made our move in and move out smooth. The property is kept tidy, is gated, never heard our neighbors, and we felt safe living there. It is close to downtown as well! We would definitely recommend living at Athens Highlands.

I lived here for two years and this was the best apartment complex I ever lived in. I've lived in other apartment complexes where management was terrible or there was a lot of crime etc., but Athens Highlands was perfect. Tammy was always at the office when she was supposed to be. She was always extremely nice. Maintenance always showed up within hours of us asking for them, and they always fixed the problem on their first try. She didn't take anything from our security deposit when she could have (and I've had other apartments take from my security deposit when they had 0 right to do so). The gates meant that I never had to worry about my car being broken into. The apartment layouts are great and the location is ideal if you are a UGA student. Tammy is a perfect apartment manager.

I didn’t get approved due to my income as a full time student, but the property manager (Tammy Hill) is by far the most helpful person I’ve encountered to assist with renting a property. Aside from being knowledgeable of other properties to help my living situation, she was very nice and encouraging. She didn’t treat me as another future tenant, I felt like she treated me as a friend and that’s the most memorable experience I could ask for. Thank you, Tammy. I’ll always appreciate you. It’s so rare and I’m forever grateful.
