We knew we needed some TLC on our deck, but didn't realize how much TLC! We were hoping we could replace a few boards and move on to other projects. Based on how the boards were so soft, I pulled up an entire row to look at the joists. Those were in pretty bad shape too. When I got a quote from Andrew, I knew I wanted to work with him. Great communication about the project. Listens to concerns and helpful in making suggestions to work within a budget. On demo day (because obviously this became a total tear down and rebuild) we found out how bad the structure of the deck was. EEK! Andrew's crew built us back a solid and beautiful deck AND we have stairs now! Yes, he has a crew that works for him, but Andrew always checked in on-site! He kept the project moving along and made sure it was up to code and standards. My pet peeve with any kind of contractors is the lack of care and communication. Andrew is amazing at both! I can't recommend Deck Doctor enough for all your decking needs!

Recently we hired The Deck Doctor to replace our 35 year old deck. It was in bad shape and wasn't safe to have people on. Andy came out and explained the process from taking down our old deck to the details of how our new deck would be built. He stressed what materials would be used and the methods involved in constructing the new deck. He listened to our concerns and ideas for the new deck. All during the process Andy was there to make sure those ideas were met. His team did a wonderful job throughout the whole construction process. After the job was completed Andy came back out for a walk through. Any issues we had, which were minor he made sure they were corrected. We would recommend The Deck Doctor to any one interested in having a deck built.
