My husband and I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience we had with local handyman Patrick from Wrightidea Handyman Services! He is very busy but was also very prompt in answering my first text message when I first reached out to him inquiring about a quote. He soon got back to me with a time he could stop by to take a look at everything we were wanting done, was on time to our meeting appointment, and was very patient with listening to me go over everything as I walked him all around the house. And even though he's very busy working on other jobs/projects, he still managed to get back to us within a few days with a detailed quote breaking down the cost of each project (we super appreciated his transparency in taking the time to break down the cost of each project on our checklist so we could prioritize each project). Once we approved his quote, we scheduled an appointment/start date and he got right to work and completed everything on our checklist within a very reasonable time frame. The things he did for us were he prepped/sanded, painted, and installed interior doors (hinges, doorknobs, and all) and some of our doorways aren't standard size because it's an older home, and he took the time to install each door properly (this was very tedious because he had to go back and forth working on both the doors and door frames) so that they fit and would open and close properly while also making sure everything looked aesthetically pleasing! He also hung up corner shelves in our laundry area securing them onto our wall, replaced the bottom mesh of our front screen door with new mesh (and I asked if he could install a metal barrier in addition to the mesh and he had a great option that looked great!), installed a beautiful ceiling light for our front porch, fixed our backyard gate that had rotted wood at the bottom and fixed the large gaps on the side of the gate that we're bothering my husband and I, installed some outdoor solar lights high up in our whimsical tree, and installed cable covers in our walls to clean up the ugly holes that were previously there where we have cable wires coming out. He is very professional, very friendly and down-to-earth, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator...letting us know if he was going to be early, later, or if he had to leave real quick, whatever the case may be he was great at communicating so we were always on the same page. We felt that no matter what the project was that we had in mind, Patrick was confident he could make it happen and he certainly did! He also has a positive attitude, and we could tell that his priority was to make sure everything was done properly and that we were happy with the end result which we were!
