My husband and I were looking to give our 8-month-old Shih Tzu a sister, and we are so happy we found Lisa and Southern Charm Shih Tzu! We chose a little girl we named Ellie, and from the first day I reached out, Lisa was quick to respond and made everything so easy. She sent us pictures (even from Ellie’s vet visit) and answered all our questions. When we picked Ellie up this past Friday, Lisa sent us home with the most amazing care package, full of thoughtful items to help our new girl settle in. We could not be more happy with our decision to adopt a puppy from Lisa at Southern Charm Shih Tzus. Lisa was so patient with my many questions and kind to allow not just one but TWO visits to meet our new furry family member. She was also able to keep her a few weeks longer since we had a trip coming up and didn't want to leave a new puppy with a dog sitter. We adopted our second Shih Tzu puppy from Southern Charm Shih Tzu’s last year. It was our second out-of-state adoption with them. We were nervous when we adopted our first out-of-state puppy in 2023, but Lisa made the experience very pleasant and stress free. She was always available to answer questions and kept us updated on how our puppy was progressing. She takes the best care of her puppies before they leave to their forever homes. Our puppy turned out to be the Shih Tzu of our dreams. Our second puppy from Lisa was another wonderful experience and addition. We highly recommend Lisa’s Southern Charm Shih Tzu’s. She is the BEST!

From the first time that I spoke with Lisa I knew I would buy a puppy from her. I can tell just how much she loved her dogs just by our conversations. Lisa even found the time to text me and send me pics of the babies just being born. I decided to go with a female puppy, Lisa was there answering my texts and for all of the questions. She answered everything that I wanted to know. My girls came home two days ago and are doing great! Yes two girls! I would not hesitate to call Lisa, she’s very honest and loves her puppies very much. She has kept in touch right after the girls came home and will be there for the rest of their lives. My girls have adapted very fast, I can see just how much training they have had. Both crate trained and pee pad trained. They both are very healthy, very playful and a great appetite. Thank you again Lisa for these two bundles of Joy that have filled my life!
