She allowed us to take as much time as we wanted to say our goodbyes, and She handled everything with the crematory for us (well except picking out the urn). I highly recommend her.

Our hearts were broken when our Sweet Shiloh was losing her battle with a splenic tumor. Dr. Holly came to our home and met Shiloh right where she was (on our bathroom floor) and helped ease her pain and get her over the Rainbow Bridge. Most of the events and processes around saying goodbye to a loved one are a blur. Being able to say goodbye in our own home, on our own terms and at our own pace - however difficult - was the best decision. When my dog of ten years got cancer, we knew we'd have to make the call sooner rather than later and the thought that we might end up in an emergency situation and have to try and say goodbye in a panic was torture. Dr. Simon was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond to my inquiry. We got on a call to talk about my dogs health, our vet's input and concerns, my own concerns, the process etc - it's hard to know what questions to even ask. I'd never had to put a dog down before. Holly took care of everything, she communicated with me on the day of and the days after - sending condolences and always trying to help me frame things in the proper context. She ensured proper cremation, and even tho I didn't ask ( or know I could ask) for a lock of hair, an inked nose print or a clay paw print - when I picked up my dog's remains all those things were there. There are a few things I know I would not have done any other way - one of them was choosing to have Dr. Simon help us say our goodbyes to my dog, Alma. I don't know how she carries the weight, but by being who she is and doing what she does she allowed us to focus on what mattered most and for that we will be forever grateful. Thank you, again.
