From packages when I was away, to special requests, to a complicated move out they always are responsive and accommodating. I will miss them and living here.

We are retired teachers who needed a place to live while building a new house. Paragon offered us a 6 month lease with the option to renew month to month if needed. We have been so pleasantly surprised at how quiet and convenient Paragon is every day! The staff is super helpful and has addressed our needs quickly and beyond our expectations! Yes, we’re looking forward to our new house, but this place is a great home!

I wanted to give Paragon a good review because I really haven’t had that many issues living here. The staff is nice and professional, the amenities are fine, and as far as convenience is concerned you won’t find much better. But I’m compelled to write this due to the roach problem we currently have that’s unfortunately put a dent in the quality of life. Each week we kill anywhere from 3-5 cockroaches that sneak in through the front door and make their way to our bedroom/bathrooms. Mind you, we keep the place spotless, wash the dishes every night, vacuum, take out the trash etc. Still the problem persists. We’ve had pest control check it out for a few months straight now and each time they come, the guy assures me there’s nothing he can do besides spray the front door. Well, that’s an issue, because these same doors aren’t built to account for the cockroach infestation even after buying a long block to fill the gaps, so we’re screwed ‘til we move out. I’m well aware that with apartment complexes like these, they’re built so that a short-term transient population stays just long enough so that the subtle disrespect goes unnoticed. But when contractors start cutting down beautiful trees for the horrific view of the highway, work orders start taking longer, and the place is understaffed, it becomes obvious that the owners view us for what they think we are - the below average middle/underclass of students & young professionals deserving a below average quality of life. Keep your sights on other apartment complexes for now.

Paragon is a really wonderful place to live, the buildings and architecture are lovely. The amenities are always clean and functional, and the staff are very kind! Specifically, Kali and Nicole make the place extra welcoming :)

Overall this place is very can be very hit or miss depending on your neighbors. The walls are very thin and you can literally hear “EVERYTHING” if you have rude neighbors! I’ve complained multiple times about my rude neighbors but nothing has changed. It sucks when you want to get some rest but no seems concerned. 5 stars to the maintenance guy Chase here at Paragon though! That guy can literally fix anything and he’s very helpful. Please get an upstairs apartment or you will be subject to not much peace.

I love living here, not to mention the lovely island that’s painted my favorite color, Blue!! The staff is amazing. I been here a year after riding from my brother house in Hull, Ga I came upon the making of this complex. Just the other day I was surprised at my place of employment by Kim and Myles with a box of cookies from Crumble Cookies. Thanks again staff for the beautifully decorated cookies.

1 star is being generous. This place was absolutely terrible. The staff was not at all friendly, and came across very rude. As soon as we moved in, we realized there seemed to be a bad roach issue predominately in the kitchen. Mind you, we lived on the third floor. We did literally everything we could - sprays, traps, maintenance requests to get new weather strips on the doors, requested pest control time and time again. We talked to the leasing office and pest control multiple times about the issue and it was never resolved. It felt like they didn't believe us - but we were seeing on average about 4-6 roaches every DAY. This issue continued the entirety of our time there. In addition to the roach infestation in our kitchen, the walls and floors are paper thin - you can literally hear every single thing above, below, and around you. The people below us had dogs that would howl at all hours of the day and night, and the people above us never stopped making ridiculously loud noises. After multiple noise complaints being sent in since this is what we were told to do but leasing was doing nothing about it - my roommate finally went upstairs to kindly ask our neighbors to be quieter. After this interaction, these same neighbors (who live about 8 people to one apartment on a company lease and do not speak any English) spit on our door and called us names that I cannot type in a google review. When we took the video evidence to the leasing office (thanks to a ring camera) they said there was nothing they could do except talk to the company who leased the apartment and possibly relocate my roommate and I to another building. After this, we both felt incredibly unsafe in our own apartment and neither of us slept there again until we were finally able to move our things out and break our lease. There are so many other nicer apartment complexes in the Athens area at the same price range - choose literally ANYWHERE else!

I can't say enough good things about the office staff! Kim, Javier, and Madison have been absolutely amazing. We recently moved to GA and were apprehensive about staying in an apartment with our family. The staff has made the transition so much better. Communication has been great, the move in process was very easy, and our maintenance requests have been responded to very quickly. Even the maintenance staff has been very polite and helpful. Our unit has nice finishes and is on the newer side. Downside is our unit off of a busy street due to the restaurants near by. Speed bumps would be helpful to slow the traffic down.
