He just told me he couldn’t fix my car because I needed to go get it inspected afterwards and it might look like he did something on purpose. (sounds to me like the previous review was true, because why are you assuming something else may be wrong) . I then said “well I don’t need you to inspect it, I just need it fixed, I’ll go somewhere else to get it inspected” ( to avoid conflict of interest). He still denied me service!! This man is very discriminatory and I do not recommend!

i went here for a safety inspection for out of state rebuilt title. seems to me its just a cash grab. i failed because i dont have a headliner and he said my radiator wasn’t supported correctly. the inspector makes 50$ off every inspection but only spent 15 minutes (if that) looking over the car. theres no way he could give a thorough inspection in that little amount of time. he quite literally was just looking for something to fail so he could get it over with. the radiator is supported just fine theres a metal wire previous owner attached for some reason but thats not holding anything theres no tension in the wire. so if i cut that the radiator would still be held up and he wouldn’t have known im missing the bottom piece either way its still supported and its not just gonna fall out when im driving. for the headliner he told me because i have airbags there i need a headliner. my immediate thought was if i took out the airbags u wouldn’t know they are existed. what if i had a headliner but no airbags there and i was able to turn off the srs light he wouldn’t know that difference. my point to saying all this is i dont think its a real inspection i think its just if he can point something out. i dont think he even hooked up a code reader. my car was already deemed roadworthy in another state so im not sure why this process is required again. im out 90$ for a tow 103$ for the inspection. ill be taking my business elsewhere. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CAR DOESNT LOOK PERFECT!!!! it doesn’t have to be perfect make it look like its not missing anything. the guy only looks to see if somethings missing he doesn’t actually know

Horrible horrible experience these people are so dishonest they told me my daughters car was fixed and when the adjuster came out there to look at it for diminished value she said the frame was fit in the car it was not safe to drive not only that but when I took it to the next body shop we open the trunk and they had sprayed all kinds of foam and under coating to try to cover up then when the other body shop took off the bumper they saw that the part the one new part that they had ordered had been hammered not bolted into the frame of the car these people are so dishonest and progressive insurance absolutely is the worst The frame of the car was bent and they sent my daughter back out on the road in a car with the frame Bent

Wow! What an amazing experience. This family ran business has excellent customer service. They are warm and friendly yet professional. I was treated well and kept in the loop every step of the way. Some shops will talk to you in a condescending tone but there's nothing but hospitality here which is hard to come by in the car service industry. I am very grateful I chose to work with Modern Body Shop and could not recommend them enough!

My vehicle was in a minor collision and I took it here to get an estimate. I was familiar with Modern Body and Frame and their excellent reputation dating from the 1970's. They are a fine Christian family owned business. While I was unable to have my vehicle repaired here because of the at fault party's insurance company; I will always recommend them.

I made an appointment to get my car inspected at 11:00. I showed up at 10:55 and got checked in, paid my hundred dollars (!) and moved my car where they asked me to. And then I waited. And waited. And waited. And finally, at 12:00, a FULL HOUR after my APPOINTMENT time, they moved my car into their inspection area. Then, at 12:20 the inspectors LEFT, presumably to eat lunch, but they sure didn't let me know. Another FULL HOUR later, they came back and finally inspected my car. The actual inspection itself took all of 30 minutes. Then I had to wait 20 more minutes for them to fill out the paperwork. So I ended up leaving at 2:00, THREE HOURS after I got there for my appointment at eleven. I did not have time that day (which is why I made an appointment) and I missed class because it took so long. By the way, I asked how long it was going to take before I made the appointment and I was told 1.5 hours. So it took twice as long as I was told. Everyone was very nice, but three hours is just absurd. I was livid. That's completely unacceptable and something needs to change. Maybe start with not scheduling somebody at eleven if you can't look at their car until noon. If you need your car inspected, go ahead and carve a whole 3-4 hours out of your schedule. If you can't, then I guess you aren't getting your car inspected.
