This project consisted of renovating a kitchen from a closed floor plan to an open floor plan which included addressing load-bearing walls. JOMA did a great job on the project from beginning to end. Jason McCall, project supervisor, and his construction teams were very knowledgeable, well equipped, and professional. Important to us was the teams were on site every day and working with an obvious interest in a quality job. When an issue arose (and they will with any reno project), the team worked quickly to resolve the issue to the owner's satisfaction. Also important was understanding that the owners were living in the space throughout the entire project and thus programming the work accordingly. Last and certainly not least, the project stayed on schedule and within budget. We would highly recommend giving JOMA an opportunity to discuss your next home improvement project with them. We knew remodels could be scary and stressful but our room addition with JOMA couldn’t have been better! From the very first meeting to final touch-ups we had constant communication and every question and need addressed! Shout out to Kyle who was an incredible project manager and all the crews who were so professional and skilled. When John and I first spoke about this cabinet project, I asked him to please send me his best carpenter. And he did! Thank you for this job very well done and for the extraordinary professionalism and skill of the people who worked here. Blaine paid attention to every detail and every challenging aspect of the job. Kyle was here several times a day and readily checking in with Blaine, Jose, and Gabe. Blaine, Jose, and Gabe were just a pleasure to have here, and the cabinets look fantastic - better than ever!

I’m very pleased with the remodel. Upper level of home totally redone. Turned out even better than I imagined it would. Crew is very skilled. Top level attention to detail. Extremely impressed with this company's professionalism. We are already hired two other companies who sent out incompetent contractors who left our house a mess. What I like about this company as they have a project manager that keeps you up-to-date on every step. Billy, the project manager personally meets out at the job to go over everything with the contractors that he's oversee and for the job. This ensures that everything is getting done properly and that every step of the project gets done correctly and in a timely manner. A very thankful for this company!

I’m so glad we chose JOMA to redo our master bathroom. All of the various subcontractors who came in (demo, plumbing, tile, electrician, glass) were great at their jobs, and do high quality work. And cleaned up after themselves every day. A very tidy worksite! Jason McCall was our main project leader and he did an outstanding job. Projects like this are not easy, with supply shortages and shipping hiccups, alongside the tradespeople coming in and out for a few months, but he made it a good experience. Responsive, reliable, dedicated to getting it right and keeping us happy and in the loop. My dog likes him, too, and he’s an excellent judge of character! With the amount of work travel I do, I wanted a hotel-quality bathroom to equal what I see on the road, and I’m absolutely thrilled to come home to it now. Thank you, JOMA and Jason!

We are so pleased with our experience with JOMA! The quality of work is great, and we're super happy with the finished product (bedroom addition and screened-in porch). But what really made this experience so positive was how smooth and low-stress the JOMA team made the entire process. During the design stage, every question, idea, and request we presented to the team was met with open curiosity, discussion, and genuine interest in understanding exactly what we wanted. (Thanks, Steve!) Throughout construction, our on-site coordinator Kyle was accessible, highly responsive, and always glad to answer questions. He checked on progress daily, kept us very well informed, and made absolutely sure our special coordination needs were met (eg coordinating around our dogs, which required lots of extra communication). Kyle was truly great to work with; he made it so that we were never left wondering what was happening or when, and we never felt worried or awkward raising concerns. (Thanks Kyle!) The builders were all friendly, respectful of our space, and kept the work area clean. Finally, communication with the entire team was made easy and transparent through their on-line project management portal. The project finished on time and on budget. We would absolutely recommend JOMA to anyone looking for a firm to build with.

Highly recommend! Their process: You pick and plan everything out up front and I mean everything, then they start Your build. The front end planning takes awhile but then we experienced little to no construction delays. Jason McCall was the lead for our home. Great worker and communicator. Good people throughout the whole experience. Before the build begins you work with Joma’s design team. Every step was easy and the design team worked seamlessly with the different area professionals. The tile, bathroom, flooring, paint, etc. all worked well. We did a complete basement build out with office, rec room, kitchenette, and guest room. It looks fantastic! We also repainted the rest of the existing three story home and redid all the floors. They were mindful of the budget the whole time.

I hate to leave poor reviews but JOMA has disappointed us too many times and I think it’s only fair for future clients to be aware of our experience. There are too many things to mention, so I will just leave this list of things I recorded that went majorly wrong throughout the process below. It’s worth noting that so much of this could have been prevented if Billy had been managing the project with the level of expertise and attention we were promised at the very beginning. We felt extremely neglected and rebuffed throughout our experience and beyond. And any grievance in which we tried to find some sort of compromise with them was met with excuses and a “you’re on your own” attitude. We unfortunately would not recommend them to anyone. The photos include work that was ultimately fixed but that added WEEKS onto our already extended timeline and were basic details that should NOT have been missed. Missing here is a photo of a wall faucet installed with a gaping hole in the wall behind it. They say measure twice, cut once—at times it felt like they weren’t measuring at all. - plastic coverings not put up as we were told - doors and windows left open and unlocked for days on end - extremely poor tile job in all three bathrooms - gap in deck - improper mirrors installed in upstairs bathrooms. when reinstalled they were crooked. - wrong sinks placed in bathrooms upstairs - oversized cut in wall tile surrounding sink handle resulting in tile having to replace. no knowledge of when this will happen. - we’re urged to go with a larger tile for main bathroom reinstall even though we paid for the expert labor needed to install the small tile - improper shelving installed in main bathroom during reinstall - countertop backsplash was added when we had requested it not to be - grout done poorly / not fully finished in main bathroom / have had to monitor everything ourselves throughout the second tile job - interior millwork is very rough and sloppy - countertops placed unevenly and with gaps - tubs are not actual deep soak as we had requested during selects - requested an outlet by the toilet in main bathroom several times and it’s still not there. this was requested for installation of a bidet and we had communicated that several times and yet they still installed the toilet flush to the wall making it impossible for us to install a bidet, therefore rendering the outlet we paid extra for unnecessary. - miscommunication or lack of knowledge about basic things like selects for fixtures time and time again. - fixtures that arrived later than others were in the warehouse unbeknownst to the team which caused major delays in installation - project managers seeing incompetencies in the installation and overall work for the first time as we’re pointing them out and being shocked by them - preventable delays due to lack of basic and proper project management resulted in us having to book several thousands of dollars in airbnb rentals and major inconvenience for us
