Very poor experience with this shipper. I received an email from the vendor i purchased product from, indicating that Estes would be contacting me to setup an appointment. When I didn't hear from them by the date it was supposed be delivered, I was told it would be another couple of days and they would call me. Instead, I receive a text message the next day that an appointment was setup and it was out for delivery. No appointment was ever scheduled, and no one was at the house to receive it. Then I was told that someone would be there the next day Saturday (no choice if this worked for me, but because items were loaded on the trailer). I wait the full day - 8-5pm and no one turns up. Then after I leave, product is left outside without my signature. Online the status still says 'out for delivery'. When I called to discuss these issues, no one ever apologized and was just very 'matter of fact' as to what happened. Poor experience, poor customer service. Would highly recommend you use someone else if possible.

We have been getting our deliveries via Estes for well over five years. Their best driver on the roster is Alan. We look forward to seeing him every week. He’s always on time, exceptionally helpful, and goes above and beyond every single time. His level of service is unparalleled. He will even pick up where other drivers may have fallen short (not taking their pallets, etc) and without a single complaint. Where others may stand back and watch us unload the pallets, he’s right in there with us - helping to unload and stack boxes and making sure they’re put where we need them. He makes sure everything is 110% before he leaves. On top of everything else, he’s very personable. He engages with all of our employees, remembers everyone by name, and brightens our day every time. He’s funny and charming and makes us all smile. To have someone deliver that level of service AND have a personality to match is a rare find. Estes: keep Alan coming back to Build a Bear in Buford!

USE ANOTHER COMPANY!!! This shipping company is horrible. My first freight delivery from them was in September 2021, I scheduled the delivery appt. and it never showed called to find out what happened they said they forgot to load it, rescheduled for the next day, same exact thing. Third delivery attempt 5 o’clock rolls around call back and they can’t find my package. After a week and a half of them having it I finally get the package. Second shipment from them march 2022 scheduled a delivery for Friday, I called at 1pm to verify that it’s on the way since I had so many problems with my first order. They said we are sorry we sent it to a different department but we have a driver that will get it over to you today. Now it’s 7:30, missed dinner with my wife because they said it’s coming. Just called them back and now they said they will have to get back with me on Monday to schedule it. Horrible.
COMFORT INN AND SUITES FRONT DESK
I ordered a sectional in January from Sears which was delivered by Estes Express Lines. Sears sent me a notice informing me that the delivery company only had curbside delivery meaning I would be responsible for getting the sofa up to my third floor apartment. I was incredibly worried because I am new to the area and don't know many people, I am also a very petite girl so I had no idea how this was going to pan out. The sectional arrived as scheduled, I was actually out at dinner when it arrived and rushed home concerned that the delivery man would leave it outside. Fortunately, I was blessed with having an AMAZING delivery guy, Allan. He not only waited 20min on me to get home but he was extremely polite about it AND lifted the three extremely large, heavy boxes containing my sectional up three stories to my apartment (despite it not being his responsibility) when he realized I didn't have help! Allan made what I thought would be a stressful experience into a wonderful one! KIND, CARING, HARD WORKER, PATIENT, and STRONG - Allan is a wonderful asset to the Estes company!
