From a practical standpoint, they take our insurance and are able to schedule 3 kids at the same time 👍 We have been coming here for over 4 years and I am not disappointed. One time we were running behind and they were able to accommodate us without cancelling. They have a little movie playing for the kids to watch while we wait, and they don't make us wait for an extra long time. Happy enough and the doctor is friendly with kids and knowledgeable. I haven't seen Dr Kwon in a while, but Dr Brown is great as well. No complaints

I specifically wanted to find a pediatric dentist for my 2 year old’s first dentist appointment to help him have an early start for his dental health with a positive experience. When I called to schedule the appointment, the receptionist explained this would be called a “happy appointment”, which made me feel confident that this would be something to help me child ease into having dental work done. When we first came in the room to get his cleaning done with Susie, I was confused when she just jumped straight into having him lay down and open his mouth facing her. She was kind, but I don’t think she acknowledged at all that a 2 year will most likely not respond well to such a direct approach with no explanation, no redirection for the child, no comfort. He cried and fought so much. I was not pleased with this. There was no strategy in place to help this be a “happy appointment” at all. I was very disappointed. Next, the actual dentists, Dr. Brown, came in and did a fantastic job with my child! Everything he did was intentional. He explained how his actions were helping to ease my child into what was going on and he had STRATEGIES to help. He also changed strategies to match what my child needed so that dentist could check his mouth like he needed. He was patient with us, gave us his attention, let my child see/touch the tools, and truly made sure I understood what was being done and what was being explained to me. This felt like a “happy appointment”! However , because my child began with Susie, who had a really poor, not mean/ugly, but genuinely not age appropriate, approach, my child couldn’t get the most out of this experience. Now I know my child could have possibly had just as difficult of a time with this whole appointment, even if the hygienist did try harder to make him feel comfortable, but we didn’t get that opportunity to see if it made a difference. As a first time parent, these decisions for your child are not easy. You want to help provide them with that they need to be healthy and successful. You do research to find the best approach/method/practice for them. Coming here did not feel like a good decision. Lastly, I asked the front desk on our way out for a paper that had notes with the dentist’s findings and concerns so I can show my husband. At first she said no, she can only give me paperwork that says what was done today. Another receptionist told her she could give me what I was asking for. I get home and read the paper, and nothing was on it that explained what the dentist had told me. That was frustrating too. I don’t know that I’d recommend this practice to another first time mom with a young child. Dr. Brown was phenomenal, but that’s my only positive note. And there is more to the appointment than just our time with him.

Today was our first time visiting with my 3 year old and we have only wonderful things to say. We waited not even 5 minutes before they took us back, x rays were immediately done and the assistant done amazing with my little girl. The Hygienist came and was super sweet and let my baby touch everything before she put any instrument in her mouth. Afterwards Dr.Brown came in and was the nicest dentist I’ve ever encountered. He was so informative in every aspect and helped me understand every move he made today and the moves he will make moving forward. We absolutely love it here!

I brought my daughter in for a second opinion. The receptionist who checked me in weren’t too friendly especially for this being our first time in the office. Once we were called lol the back we had to nurses. The first one wasn’t as bubbly as the second one but she wasn’t mean or rude. The second one was bubbly. In walks Dr. Brown which caught my daughter by surprise. My daughter instantly gave Dr. Brown sass and he caught it really quick and was joking with her. This put us at ease. Then when we were leaving, the lady who scheduled our procedure was nice as well. However, we left at about 8:30am however at 9:50 we received an email cancellation for not confirming but we had just set the appointment about an hour before. I called to get it scheduled and the person who answered the phone picked up and put me on hold for 10 minutes before coming back to the phone. Came back Second visit with my daughter, only to be greeted at the front counter with a price of $300 that could have been told to me prior to me coming to the facility so that I could have arrangement Made thing that they kept harassing me about this disappointment, but nobody called to inform me or sent a text like they have been doing to tell me how much the total was gonna be if you’re going to be charging You should be letting them know in Advance. We will not be back

This was my son’s very first appointment and I am very much impressed! Dr. Hobbs took the time to blow up a glove balloon and show him what she was going to do, and make him comfortable with every step. Amazing experience!

Just another Bait and Switch place. Took my son here about a month ago and was told how much we would owe out of pocket - something like $175 that insurance wasn’t going to cover. So, we agreed. Paid the $175 and left. Well, today we came in again for some more stuff for my son only to find out that we still owe another $165+/- from that first visit. They said what we paid the first time was an “estimate”. For one, they never called it an estimate at all, they said that was total that we would owe out of pocket. But let’s be nice and say “it was an estimate”. Don’t know about you but in my world an estimate is a pretty dang good guess to how much something is…it’s not double what something would be. That’s called “Bait and Switch”. So, today’s visit was around $140+/-….I guess I’ll find out in another month that was a bad estimate too and we owe double again. Guys, when a company actively performs Bait and Switch practices, it’s obviously not a good thing.

We had an amazing experience at Kwon. From the moment we walked in. My daughter is terrified of dentists and doctors. They made my daughter feel completely at ease, explaining everything in a fun and friendly way. She came in today scared and crying. She left not wanting to leave and gave everyone a hug. I highly recommend Kwon for any parent looking for a caring, patient, and skilled pediatric dentist. Everyone was wonderful!

Dentist office is amazing. Workers I met top notch except the person whose job it is to book appointments. I have left 4 messages on separate days on separate weeks trying to get my son an appointment and never received a call back. My wife calls first thing in the morning and gets an actual person for once. Guess who gets called a liar and questioned if I ever called in the first place.
