I have never experienced anything quite like Car Doctors on Jefferson Road. Cindy and her team were absolutely outstanding. I had never even heard of financing being offered through a repair shop, yet they made the process simple and accessible. On top of that, they provided my friend with a loaner car to use until her vehicle was fully repaired, which was such a thoughtful touch. The technicians were highly skilled and precise in diagnosing the issue with her car. We were prepared to say goodbye to the vehicle, but Car Doctors identified and fixed the problem, and it has been running smoothly ever since. I cannot say enough great things about Car Doctors in Athens, GA (Jefferson Road location)! After taking my Chevy Traverse to several different mechanics who all claimed they had fixed my A/C—only for the problem to come back—I was told it was a “bigger, more expensive issue.” Car Doctors did a thorough diagnostic and discovered that it actually wasn’t nearly as bad as the other mechanics made it out to be. They even gave me a loaner car for free while they worked on mine, which was such a huge help. On top of that, they offer financing options, so I didn’t have to pay for everything upfront. The customer service here is by far the best I’ve ever experienced with any auto repair shop. A special shoutout to Cindy, who walked me through the entire process. She kept me updated every step of the way, was honest about what my car really needed, and made me feel like I had known her for years. Every workplace needs a Cindy! Cindy and her team are exceptional! From now on, Car Doctors on Jefferson Road is the only place I will take my car for repairs or maintenance. Great service, communication and expertise from Craig. After my last two oil changes, the dealership said I needed to replace some parts, and the repair would cost about $1,000. I brought my Subaru to Car Doctors for an estimate. They inspected the parts in question and found them to be in adequate condition with no need to replace at this time. When the time comes to replace those and other parts I will bring the car to Car Doctors.

Car Doctors in Athens, GA was a positive experience during a challenging situation. Driving from Florida to Connecticut, I filled a tank at an Athens gas station but unfortunately the station’s fuel tank contained mostly water. I was towed to Car Doctors, which was extremely fortunate. Lauren was still in the office after hours and reassured me that they would get me back in the road as quickly as possible. Arlene kept me informed over the next two days and was very transparent about the repair costs. The truck ran perfectly for the remainder of my trip! I’d give more than 5 stars if it was possible to do so!

My daughter’s radiator went out in downtown Atlanta. Car Doctors hooked me up with a towing service who had the car at the shop the next day. Craig gave me an estimate and stayed in contact throughout the entire time of service. He made suggestions for added precautions which in turn showed the potential reason the radiator exploded. It was money well spent. They had her on the road just a couple days and were a delight to work with.

Worth noting that I’m writing this review after spending a few thousand dollars for major repairs - Car Doctors is awesome! The online scheduling was super easy, the service reps were extremely helpful and understanding throughout the whole process, and I felt very listened to the whole time. They fixed up everything I paid for and more. I was hesitant to go to a more commercial-looking mechanic at first, but I won’t be hesitating next time!

I brought my car to them 3 times and they still did not fix the problem , they kept saying it was something new every time but I’ll still have the same exact issue! I paid them twice to fix my car but when i brought it back the 3rd time they tried to charged me again but I didn’t go for it because it’s no way my car still be doing the same things when I already brought it to you guys twice ! And I told them I didn’t want to pay for my car to be doing the same shit 2 days later ! And I’ll be damn it did start back doing it again this morning !! I do not recommend anyone to take there car here they are scams and do not know what there doing what so ever !!!

I’ve used them many times. Under new management now and that brings a fresh update and improved communication. I’ve always felt like they were fair - price wise - and have never had issues with my vehicle following a repair. They’ll uber you home too if you need to drop off a car. Just a good place to work with.
