Recently we needed security service for several nights during an event we were hosting at the Taylor-Grady House. We talked with Carter Greene to schedule BOS to help us. He was professional and very quick to share information and to help us meet the needs that we had. Had an issue with my car yesterday in the Beechwood shopping center. I was waiting on my husband to get off of work so we could drive home after a long day. Husband is manager at a store in that shopping center. We had our hood up as did the car next to us, as we required a jump to get the car to start. The pretend cop security car drove by our car twice and I watched him look over at me, so there is no way he did not see that we needed help. He not only offered help, he just drove right by. My husband is a recent amputee. He continued to work after the amputation, but before his prosthetic leg was available. When he is not wearing his new leg, he must hop behind a walker to get anywhere. They have pestered me to death about moving my car as I park in the loading zone. But I am not letting my husband hop along in the rain or the parking lot which is full of holes. So we already knew they were heartless, but after yesterday, now we know they are lazy and helpless.
