My husband's truck was acting up and we took advantage of the night drop. The service advisor doesn't call right away. They call when they get to your vehicle. You can ask for a specific advisor if you find you connect with someone.

Would leave zero stars if I could. I had my car towed here for a recall repair. It took 4 days to get any information on the status of repairs. They sent me an estimate of $4500 to fix the transmission on a car that's barely worth $1000. Absolutely no follow up from Blake Christian, my "service advisor". Today I texted him to let him know I'd be in to get my car. Apparently he is off today. The lady handling his cases, Renee, was not any more helpful. After leaving my daughter and I sitting in the waiting room for over an hour, she informed me that my keys were locked up and there was no one who could get them out. So now I have to inconvenience someone to come get me, AND bring me back Monday! Very poor service and communication. I am grateful to be getting rid of this car and buying a Nissan!

Horrible customer service, your employees should take a class on it! Took my car because of a recall part and once it was ready to be picked up, i found out that they messed up my car! I took it back to see what was wrong. Do not go to RENEE INGRAM very rude and got offended we would ask questions, horrible service! We just wanted to understand better about what was wrong with my car :(

Not a great experience with service. I called to make an appointment. The lady answering the phone was pleasant and answer the phone in a timely manner and that's why it's not one star. Now to the bad part. I was driving but making the call because that's when I have time to do personal stuff and I wanted to get an oil change for my new vehicle. It is a Ford. She would not schedule the appointment without me giving her the VIN number. I explained to her the year make and model and told her you guys can scan it when it comes in but I don't have that information I'm driving. She would not let me schedule the appointment without giving the full VIN number. I've made hundreds of appointments for cars over the years to have them serviced and never had to give the VIN number before making an appointment. So I just went to Akins Ford and they took care of me without having to give a VIN number. They made the appointment easily in about 30 seconds on the phone and there was no issues. I understand she was just trying to do her job and probably someone told her that was important. But getting the customer in to do the service is the most important. When I tried to ask her if I could just bring it in based on make and model she got a little bit aggressive on the phone and said "sir I can't do anything unless you give me the VIN number." I said thank you very much and hung up and will not go back. Probably they need a policy change on that. I know the VIN number is the way they track stuff but they can just scan it on the door when I come in for the appointment. It shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Billy Dale Hummell went over and above to help me get my car serviced and covered under warranty. He genuinely cares at the customer. I have been a loyal customer of Athens Ford for many years and Billy D took care of me . He had help from his colleagues as well. I presented him with the GOLDEN ANTLER AWARD 😄 for outstanding customer service. Thank you Billy Dale! Dr. Mark.Anthony

Staff at the service department need to do a better job at communicating with their customers. Over a decade of service there to be treated like nothing.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would. I very rarely write negative review, so listen up. Scheduled via the Ford App to drop my truck off for oil change and tire rotation Saturday at noon. Received a call at 12:55 with technician suggestions, declined those and opted to only have oil change and tire rotation. Was told I would receive a call when the truck was ready. Around 4:50 or so I start calling and get no answer. My lovely girlfriend took me to Athens Ford, where I was informed they closed and everyone was gone and there is no way for them to tell me anything about what’s going on. I didn’t throw a fit or have a tantrum, I calmly left, got a few things out of my truck and left. That’s right I had the second key with me and could have taken the truck but then don’t want anyone thinking it’s stolen. So now I’m without a vehicle for work Monday and for my second job Monday evening. Not sure how I’m supposed to possibly pick the vehicle up until maybe next Thursday. I hope to goodness someone has some great answers for me on Monday… Update: A post was made on a local social media platform. The issue was resolved and the truck was delivered to my house within about an hour. Raising my review to 3 stars.

I had a recall on my airbags and they replaced it for free. They have a really nice waiting room with sofas, FREE snacks, FREE drinks coloring for the kids and an Xbox!!!

After being very frustrated with the Ford Corporation and their lack of response to our Expedition's issues, I want to be the first to tell everyone how the folks at Athens Ford reached out to us directly and with genuine concern. While they could not guarantee a favorable outcome, they promised to look deeper into the matter and get back in touch. Little did I expect the response to be so immediate and, fortunately, one that was so favorable. Service Director Kyle Cloud and Stephanie Dwyer handled our case admirably, were much-appreciated, and deserve to be recognized for their efforts!
