I can't say enough good things about Bud and the team at Athens Motorworks! I was 1.5 hours into a 5.5-hour journey to help my girlfriend’s daughter move to Hilton Head, SC, when my truck had a bad coil. I pulled into their shop just 10 minutes before closing, fully expecting to be turned away. Instead, they welcomed me in, ordered the parts, and even called in favors to get them delivered quickly. Their willingness to stay late and go above and beyond to help was incredible. Thanks to them, what could have been a major setback turned into a reminder of what great service looks like. Absolutely amazing experience and the best group of men. Truck full of furniture that we were taking to SC for my daughter & it started having problems. They close at 5, we roll in at 4:45. They made sure we were taken care of. They didn't have the part but another amazing person from O'Reillys hand delivered it. They stayed and made sure we got back on the road and to my daughter. Bud is a great mechanic who will try everything he can to fix your car, even if other mechanics at other locations may deem it unsalvageable because they are too lazy to think of the unconventional. I have been impressed again and again by AAW. They are friendly, professional and take customer satisfaction very seriously. We've had some weird problems, and Bud was tenacious in finding the solution. Then, after spending untold hours finding the problem, he only charged us for parts and labor actually spent fixing it, which was inexpensive. They've done good work for us for years, and I hope we can trust them again for years to come.
