This place is amazing! Very generous. To get food you just need to bring SS cards for adults, proof of address for each adult (make sure the piece of mail has some kind of date on it from the last 30 days to show it's current), and Medicaid cards for kids. Bring all that to the Ark next door between 9 am and 12:30 pm. After that they'll send you to the food bank next door to get food for your family! If you have a pet, let them know, they MIGHT have some donated pet food, but not all the time. Really sweet people!

Mrs. Ramos and her crew are some of the most hard working and caring group of people I ever met! Trying to get through college on a tight student budget, Mrs. Ramos always opened her door to me and helped to the best of her ability. For the amount of resources they receive, they are really doing God's work with what they have, and it is so much that they do. Mrs. Ramos has definitely inspired me to give back to my community, just like she does!

I donate here regularly and often see different volunteers helping out. My opinion is that Kim and others utilize their time in an efficient and effective manner to help as many families as possible with limited funding, donations and time. Kudos to all of you! God Bless your Generosity!! Darrin McD.

They worry to much about paperwork than actually helping someone. Today I really needed food and formula. I live with someone else I'm already having a hard time and they didn't help! I didn't have this I didn't have that. If you have food and formula and there is a family in need simply be a blessing. Why the extra headache?

Hurt distraught and hungry I was upset but I didn’t abuse anybody in that office. I went into the other side and there was no staff in sight. There are also no signs saying anything about not entering the back, which is where I found you. I’m not the type person to just sit and mope like the rest. When I have an issue or a problem I like to face it and solve it. But your non-caring expression pained me. I Don’t apologize that I swore! I’m an adult! My mom is a minister and she cusses worse than me! If anything you and your staff abused me! I was hurt emotionally because when you think of an emergency food bank one would believe that when you have no money and hungry that that’s the place to go. That was not the case. Maybe I just didn’t look poor enough Or something? Never judge a book by its cover! I have had a very rough three/ 4 years and had 10 months of that being homeless due to a broken leg that kept me from working for almost a year! I had some money saved but not enough to last for the amount of time I was down. As soon as I was getting on my feet again my brother died! And that was what brought me to my knees. I was supposed to move out in 10 days from that day. The place was already rented to someone else and I had no where to go. So i became homeless. I lived out of my truck, storage unit, friends houses, etc. if it wasn’t for the love of my ex i dont know where I would be right now. He brought me to Gaorgia and we did everything we could to keep positive and get back on our feet. But if it wasn’t one thing it’s another. Fast forwarding a bit; I had acquired a job here that I thought understood the film industry and I kept them updated on my success. I called a meeting to ask for an extra day because my momma gave me bad new and I wanted to make more money so I could fly back to California to see her before her soul leaves us. But in a turn of events I was let go for something I never did and supposedly took place two months prior. I had been honest with them from the beginning. Once they thought that I could maybe possibly be quitting soon they made up some excuse. so when I called a meeting to ask for more hours I was blindsided with there jealous hate. So when your office told me I wasn’t aloud food (for myself) and although I had all My proper paper work it didn’t matter. I am a very honest and transparent person And unfortunately it’s people like you that create dishonesty in this world. people think they have to lie so that way they can survive. But I refuse to allow other people’s motives to create a dishonest person out of me. I don’t lie and I don’t feel theres ever a good reason to lie especially when it comes to food! I had tears balling down my face because you and your staff told me that I don’t get to eat. How dare you call yourself an emergency food pantry! I’m telling you all this so that way you can maybe next time not push somebody out or single somebody out the way you did me! Cuss words are just words and in all reality mean nothing except for the pain that person trying to express. I feel sad for you in knowing that you can’t see past the words and see through to the true pain that I was going through! I would truly recommend you and your staff take some psychological training to understand the communication and transparencys of human beings allong with an understanding of emotional frustrations, humility, and pain that we all face when we are “hard up” as they say. I truly believe you need to change your name and take the (emergency) out of it. It gives people a false impression of your company! I believe any lawyer or law student would also agree. And I’m going to end on one last note; your company sucks, your company’s rules suck and you and your company hurt my emotions with no regard as to what was happening in my personal life. There’s a reason why people show up at your doorstep’s and it’s not ever going to be pretty. You need to except that! You can’t just pick and choose who you get to help or not help that’s called discrimination.

They care more about paperwork then rather you being to feed your children. Lady was rude as all out doors! If I actually got food stamps do you think I will be in here asking yall for some food😕. Before I go here and ask for help EVER again I will starve or steal to feed my family. …

This is not an emergency food bank! Unless you got all the paperwork for everybody in your household they don't give care about you. They really need to grow a heart because they have lost theirs.
