Dr. Pentlarge is an absolute dream. She gave me the best news I possibly could've dreamed of. When I got my cat, I was told she was blind in one eye. This was followed by two years of frustration, eye drops, and pills. We never were able to get a clear diagnosis of the issue from my primary vet. I could tell my vet was trying their best but didn't quite have the expertise to diagnose the issue. Dr. Pentlarge treated my animal with such kindness and immediately knew what was wrong with her. She let me know my cat actually has excellent vision and she was just born this way - no need for pills and drops. She was explained it so well and in a way I could really understand. She even had a hand out prepared for me. I could not be more appreciative. Her entire office was so kind, and the place was so well kept. I could not sing her praises enough. This has been such a weight lifted off my chest.

I saw Dr. Pentlarge yesterday along with my diabetic pup Harper Leigh. This initial appointment was pleasant from beginning to end. She was very thorough and offered time for me to ask questions and demonstrate everything that she asked me to do at home to treat my girl. Wonderful staff. Nice office in historic district.

Absolutely amazing people! You can tell Dr. Pentlarge and her team care so much about your animals health all around. She was very knowledgeable and thorough with her exam and care for my cat. They fit me in as an emergency and even with the emergency charge it was very affordable. I cant thank them enough, I feel very confident having my cat under their guidance through this.

Great staff and Dr Pentlarge is the most knowledgeable vet we've ever been to. Our dog went totally blind with cataracts about three weeks after diagnosed w with diabetes. He can see now and should the rest of his life! Thanks Dr Pentlarge and wonderful staff!

I can’t speak to the actual service provided here, but I called with an eye emergency and was told the next appointment (even for an emergency) is 1/25 and they don’t take walk-ins. The website says “Appointment Recommended,” but doesn’t say they don’t take walk-ins. I feel that the office staff/receptionist could have been a little more compassionate when my dog’s eye is about to pop out of his head. 🙄
