Wonderbar is a staple in Athens. I’ve loved coming here for years and thoroughly enjoy my experience each time. Depending on who is working you’ll have different music playing, but the vibes are always there! Mary is fast and efficient and always looking to help guests as they come to the bar, even when it’s slammed. Thanks for keeping Athens fun!

Wonderbar has been my go-to spot since moving to Athens! The specialty cocktails are always a hit—you have to try the Starburst shot. The place is packed with entertainment: video games, arcade games, table games, and theme nights! Also Wonderbar might just have the cleanest bathroom in all of downtown Athens. Whether you’re local or just visiting, Wonderbar is definitely worth checking out!

Drinks were fine. I guess reasonably priced. But to go to an arcade bar for them to only have arcade one up machines is a bit of a let down honestly. The space is small, not many games. Overall just a weird vibe compared to other arcade bars I've been to

Cool vibe, weak drinks: Really chill place to hang out, lots of games to choose from, even if you brought your own I dont think its a big deal, staff is always friendly and its clean. And its fun to game with strangers who pop in. Big downside is their drinks are very weak! I am an infamous light weight to those who know me, I had 3 cocktails in about 1.5hrs and felt basically nothing. Normally I shouldn't be able to walk straight after that many drinks. And no it didn't hit me later on. Ive tried to get poop faced at this place before and it was the same deal. Their drinks are on permanent easy mode. Weak sauce.

Without a doubt, the best bar I’ve ever been to in my life. Great service. Great people. Great drinks. Heck, even great food. Games are free. Smash tournaments, Rock Paper Scissors tournaments, even a connect 4 championship. Whether you’re visiting, a native, or a college student, if you’ve never been to Wonderbar, you’re missing out on the Athens experience.

My favorite bar in downtown! Not only do they have a ton of games (including Mario Kart- my favorite), they have creative shots and cocktails. The pink starburst shot is the best shot! If you're looking for something fun, get the Capri Sun with rum in it!
