Like most other college ministries in Athens, Wesley has great sermons, community, and worship, but what Wesley has that most other college ministries don't have, is the grow and lead programs. I was astounded by how much Wesley has encouraged me to grow in my faith through service, prayer, and discipleship and I only just started. If you decide to commit to lead at Wesley you will come to love the hours each week you spend growing and serving. The leadership at Wesley is amazing, I have never attended a church or ministry that I have loved as much as Wesley and Freshley. I definitely recommend visiting the large group a few times, and if you like it then sign up for grow or lead because that is where I feel that the true growth happens.
