So the only reason the pub got a one for food is because they only had muffins when I stopped in. But you could bring food in, order drinks, and sit down. It's a very cool atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. They serve alcohol, coffee, and tea, which is a unique blend of drinks for a pub. Definitely take a pizza in there and have 🍺 beer!

I’ve been coming to Walkers for over a decade at this point. It’s one of a handful of places downtown that has had consistently good service. It’s a great place to study, do work, grab a coffee or beer with a friend, and is an awesome game day spot. You can come at almost any part of the day and it works. Coffee in the morning. Alcohol later in the day. They also have a nice selection of boozy coffees if you want something in between. Which reminds me, they have the best espresso martinis in town. Seriously, they’re dangerous. Lastly, there is a good mix of college students and older locals working here and they’re always competent and friendly. You can’t ask for a better Athens experience.

Walker’s Coffee Shop and Pub has officially lost my business. The employees are incredibly unprofessional loudly shouting about politics in a disgusting and offensive way while customers are trying to enjoy their coffee. It’s rude, it’s inappropriate, and it completely ruins the atmosphere. Judging by the reactions of others, I’m not the only one walking away from this place. If they don’t care about creating a welcoming space for their customers, they don’t deserve our business.

Incredible!!! If you enjoy expresso or coffee drinks, an absolute must. Be prepared however that you will have an ID check. Gray hair and wrinkled skin not exempted😀(Good for business!!) Loved the experience.

Coffee shop by day, bar by night? Perfect atmosphere. A pot of tea and a French soda (aka dirty soda) were just over $6, wasn't too loud, baristas were super friendly and the drinks were DELICIOUS.

One of our favorite spots in Athens, GA! They have a great variety of drinks and beers. It has a great vibe all year around but my fav is Winter with some of their hot coffees or chocolates with a little bit of booze! Is the perfect place to go and hang out with friends that is not super wild and crazy. You can actually have a conversation in there, unless they have some event going on!!! They do have good music and always some kind of game going on their TVs. Super recommended! A+

I come here all the time, and their moods are so wishy washy. one day it could be a pleasant experience w the baristas up front and the next day they’re so snappy and so rude. I’ve had to walk out twice because I didn’t like the way I was spoken to or my friend. Sometimes they don’t even let you get settled in, before asking you to go ger a drink immediately. I couldn’t imagine being a new customer and being talked to snappy the first time I walk in or pressured to by a drink immediately. They do know students mostly visit here, right??
