Love this park. Has everything you need. They were low on firewood but that wasn’t a big deal. We can make do. If you’re camping here, probably one of the best. Restrooms are surprisingly amazing, especially their single stall showers. Plenty of fish as well, I fished 2 ponds. One seemed to be cover in green something idk what that was, but I caught fish there and on the front lake toward the entrance. Trust system for the parking, which that’s how it should be but you know. People.

Small but charming with nice water features. Good place for photography in the fall, not very busy.

Very peaceful place to sit next to the creek and have a picnic. Note there is a place you have to drive through the creek at shallow point on a concrete pass.

One of the best state parks in GA, sitting in a peaceful & beautiful natural environment. The golf course is a bit hilly but is so beautiful and challenging to play. We stayed at campground site 23 which is very spacious. The campground is big rig friendly, but if it’s your first time to RV here please pay attention to follow the sign, turn right to the RV parking lot then walk to the office that is a little bit away to check in. It’s just a little bit inconvenient but after that everything is super enjoyable.

Great park for walking the trails and spending day with the family. Dogs welcome, lots of places to camp, stop, fish, just enjoy the water features. Only thing holding it back from 5 stars for me is the golf course in the middle of the beautiful perimeter trail. Love the escapism that nature provides, others may love th golf course feature. Other than that, ifmyou are near, visit. Great location overall.

Beautiful park with plenty of picnic areas complete with grills and most with views of the water. They have pavilions also. Nature trail, fishing, playground, swimming pool or you can play in the water (at your own risk). The trails are good, range from easy to moderate. Very relaxing and peaceful...

Nice sites, long and level with picnic table and fire ring. The trash dumpster was conveniently located and the trails were lovely and well marked. Some sites were very close which would be great as buddy sites. We didn’t tent but the sheltered tent sites looked amazing.

Great park, super park rangers, and hosts. Even with some minor electrical issues, it was a great first-time stay. We will be back. Went back, and I had a wonderful, uneventful stay. For part of the weekend, there were scouts and youth groups in the primitive sites, but with lots of room and lots to do, they were well behaved.

Took the grandkids. They loved walking on the rocks and being so close to the creek. Be careful walking on the acorns. It was like walking on ice.
