Fantastic museum! A real jewel of the south. I’m not a artsy or museum going person, but I visited with my daughter who is an art history major to see the American Women in Paris exhibit. While she was studying the paintings I spend 2 full hours thoroughly engage and entertained roaming the other exhibits. There is a lot here to enjoy. Please visit if you can and enjoy a few hours in another world.

Kinda stupid to walk in, innit. Walking around in a university campus is a must. A ridiculously large stadium hardly ever used by students right in the middle, in the way of students trying to get to and from their classes - with the students having forced to subsidize the facilities with their tuition... UGA, y'all's campus is worse than Florida's universities... And that makes me embarrassed... There's so much potential... Let's have a better vision for the future of the school. UGA, buy up some land and build a more accessible campus - walkable in a reasonable distance by foot. Look to the east and the west of campus, and see there's parking lots and Greek homes that could be purchased and relocated, allowing room for future world leaders to fall in love with the architecture and nature that could be had at UGA. Right now, just the old campus and Myers Hall is all there is. The legacy started strong. Most schools don't even have the opportunity to inherit such rich history and culture. Let's let it flourish moving into the next chapter of this institution.

As a PhD student in Microbiology at the University of Georgia, I can confidently say that UGA offers an exceptional blend of academic excellence, vibrant campus life, and robust transportation and safety infrastructure. The campus is not only beautiful but also highly accessible, thanks to the fare-free UGA Campus Transit system, which operates multiple routes throughout the day (i.e., BH, CL, NSC, P&R, VM, HS, RC) and night (i.e., NC, P&RE), including weekends. For those with mobility impairments, the university provides dedicated paratransit services to ensure everyone can navigate the campus comfortably. Safety is a top priority at UGA. The university has invested significantly in enhancing campus security, including the installation of additional security cameras, improved lighting with LED conversions, and the implementation of a call-box system. These measures, along with a dedicated campus police department and safety programs like UGA Ride Smart, which offers discounted late-night rides through Lyft, contribute to a secure environment for students and staff alike. Living and studying here has been a remarkable experience. The combination of top-tier academics, a supportive community, and comprehensive transportation and safety services makes UGA a standout institution.

The university campus is very large and lively. I enjoyed walking through the campus. But they don't have enough visitor or paid parking zones.

While attending UGA as a freshman my roommate got arrested and impersonated me to a police officer. UGA Housing continued to harass me, despite them telling me multiple times after the incident that nothing would impact me. The head of Reed Housing made me feel unsafe living there as she continued to harass me over the incident.

Nice campus. Stadium is nothing special. It's standard. Great vibe and environment.
