I'm only leaving a review because of the maintenance man Paul. He has fixed every issue I have had within a 24 hour time period and is always kind. He seems to take more pride in the community and making it comfortable than anyone else I've seen. If you have issues, I'd just ask for Paul. He'll get it done quickly and neatly.

The only reason I am giving five stars is for Paul the maintenance guy. He is the best thing university Oaks has to offer. If you need something fixed in your apartment, he will do it and he will do it fast. He has a nice attitude and is pleasant to talk to Unlike a lot of people at apartment complexes in position. Thank you, Mr. Paul for actually doing your job and not having an attitude while doing it!! You are great!

They did not let me see the apartment until the day to sign the lease, when I gave them the money order then they gave me the keys to the apartment and it look like a hell hole. I definitely went to that office and got my money back. The apartment was really disgusting 🤮 bags of trash outside of the door. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to a homeless man.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I scheduled a tour online and showed up for my appointment, only to be told the tour wouldn’t happen. Kim Hill asked if I had visited the website—I explained that I had, since that’s how I booked the tour. Instead of showing us the property, she just pulled up the website and showed us floor plans and general info I had already seen. She then told us if we were still interested, we could apply online, handed us a business card, and sent us on our way. No tour, no effort to engage. It felt very dismissive and unprofessional. We decided not to move forward with this place.

This place is a nightmare. If you apply here you fell down on your feet and need and need to get back up. 1.Roaches Galore (health problems bad) 2. Painted over everything (the previous leaders facial hair is stuck to my sink) 3. Leasing office employees act scared Or incompetent. Their favorite sentences are” I don’t know and I’m not sure” 4. No way of reaching out unless you’re in the office which back fires on them because everybody comes to the leasing office to get ask for help. While they are in the office scamming everyone coming in. 5. Lease Renewal : they will say their email is not working and you will reach out way before your lease renewal. They will put you on a month to month extra $150 + your current rent. But is better cause they know everybody who is better than this place will leave soon anyway. 6. They act like they care but they don’t. 7.Lesha the head manager will try to bully you if you stand up for yourself. 8. Maintenance is the only hard working people in this place. (The Hispanic dude, the old white dude, and Daylan are all hard workers) 9. They never answer the phone 10. They are so unorganized I know there are people here they forgot about living here and aren’t paying rent. (I.e. homeless people were found living in some apartments months ago; the homeless loiter the halls in the winter) 11.Loud inconsiderate undesirable people. I’m black and saying that. 12. You won’t get any sleep. If you move here prepare to leave!

This review is for the maintenance man Paul and not the property. He fixed my AC in the matter of minutes! All the other maintenance men couldn't figure it out. I moved in without central working and the rental office failed to let me know prior to signing the lease.

The roaches here are terrible, they don't utilize the package lockers you go in the package room and they're just laying there all opened with the door unlocked. And the don't honor referrals.
