Prior posts of not being helpful is NOT what I experienced and I use this post office all the time. Truly appreciate the self help machine outside that is 24 hours, and staff have helped me always. I have not seen long lines, but I am sure that depends on the time of day. Appreciate the Sat hours also.

8/30/25 Absolutely the worst experience ever. They continue to not deliver packages even though someone is home. And when I contact them they won't even answer the phones. This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with and I will be contacting the BBB and my congressman in regards to their pathetic excuse of services. *NOTE someone was home and alert waiting for them to deliver the package which required a signature confirmation and they refused to do their job and deliver the package. They are utterly ridiculous. 9/22/25 Update/ Continuation: problem has Continued to get worse. Carrier is refusing to deliver packages and is making up stories about animal interference when the dogs have been put up with notice that we are expecting a package to sign for. No attempt for delivery was made and I have contacted my congressman and both senators, I will contact the media and am considering pressing charges if they do not deliver my mail. I am over this bs and tired of this. I have informed all sellers and clients not to ship using the post office with me moving forward. They have tampered with my mail, and have out right refused to deliver packages. I will not stop until this issue is resolved.

I assume my postal lady dispatches from this location. I live on Branch Street and wanted to give her the credit she deserves. She is sooo nice AND she leaves treats in my mailbox for my dogs. Thank you so much for what you do!!! Edit: I've got her name!! It's Mrs. T Fields, and she is the BEST!!!

Miserable man working there today @3pm. Made me buy bigger boxes claiming 4 x 4 x 4 boxes weren’t big enough. Needs a huge attitude adjustment too. I came up to him asking how he was and he’s sitting there sighing and rolling his eyes at me as I continue to be nice!!!!! There’s never a reason to be that rude to someone over a BOX. There was a nice lady that helped me with the refund for the boxes he told me I needed to purchase, but only got refunded for 3 instead of 4 because I wrote on one of them (when he’s the one that told me I needed the bigger boxes), he needs to be let go

I love this location. The staff are always kind and happy to help. The inside recently got renovated too so it’s extremely clean and nice. I also love that the drop off box for mail is open 24/7 so I can always drop off my orders.

Trying to get a redelivery. It appears that the carrier and others I’m not too particular about doing their jobs correctly. I’ve been using their red delivery request slip and they are just leaving it in my mailbox and ignoring it.

Got helped by Marion and Laura. Got informed delivery that I got mail that was from the IRS which was a check that was supposed to be delivered but never received it when I went to inquire about this check, they said that there’s nothing they can do and that if it’s lost, It’s just lost. This is the second check that has been lost due to this USPS. Terrible customer service.

Don’t plan on coming here with any level of expedition or haste. There is always an excuse. Always someone else’s fault. This is the worst post office I’ve set foot in and on average I’ll spend 30-45 minutes waiting when I come here. They often have 1 person working and no one else. The post Master should be fired or they need to hire more people; this is a disgrace… one lady doing passports and not a soul behind the counter otherwise. If you need to mail driving to Watkinsville is worth it.

Minnie was super helpful and kind. This is my first time mailing out an application to renew a passport by myself. I of course, did my research before coming in, but she was kind enough to double check to make sure I had everything I needed and kindly answered my questions. Thanks Minnie!

The staff is always friendly. Newly remodeled building. My favorite local post office.
